WHO: Armitage Hux and YOU
WHERE: around De Chima
WHEN: August 7th-9th
WHAT: MURDER (and not murder things too, I guess)
WARNINGS: murder, violence, etc.
open-vicinity of menhit's bloodlust murder concert (MURDER)
[Unlike most of the others caught up in the frenzy, Hux looks almost calm. If it wasn't for the bloody knife in his hand which he tapped idly against his fingers and a red smear across one cheek, he looked perfectly controlled compared to the others who had allowed themselves to be caught up.
Those who encountered him would not fare well, he was in not a mood to show mercy. When he heard someone nearby, he paused, not glancing behind him.
Is there a reason you dare approach me?
open- de chima (non-murder option)
[Eventually he had to wash the blood off, making sure to get off every trace. It took some scrubbing under his fingernails but even though he didn't often get his hands dirty, this wasn't his first time doing this.
As entertaining as murder was, he had business to do, life still went on. He can be found around De Chima for work, doing errands. Even if there is something...off...he can at least keep his bloodlust in check for at least an afternoon.
Hopefully.]

[For all your murder and non-murder needs.]

illuminations and make sure to get mod approval as needed.]

Then he had been helpless, forced to concede to Ren's power.
But here he had alternatives. Now he could fight back against the Force. It took every bit of focus to gather a small ball of fire in one hand, letting his rage fuel his power.]
Stupid...old.....man...
[The fire grew even as he saw white spots at the edges of his vision. He was not going to give up without a fight. He could only hope that the fireball he released in Dooku's direction would hit its target as he fell to one knee, still straining for breath.]

Young... thoughtless... fool...
[Consciousness leaves him. Men his age do not handle oxygen deprivation well. He falls over, limply, passed out.]
no subject
The last thing he saw was Dooku falling to his knees. Any words were distant echoes and he couldn't put the sounds together.
The world went dark and he collapsed onto the ground with one last gasp.]
no subject
What... what nonsense is this?
no subject
There was some muffled laughter and he wrinkled his nose as he opened his eyes, frowning at the sound of Dooku's voice. He pried himself up with as much dignity he had left.]
What have you done now?
no subject
You.
[He points at Hux.]
This is all your fault.
no subject
[He wasn't hung over but his head still hurt and his throat burned. He felt sore all over and it took him a few moments to stand up to face Dooku.]
You just had to drag me down with you, didn't you?
no subject
You began this quarrel the moment you turned against me. Rest assured, this is only the beginning of the troubles I mean to inflict upon you.
no subject
[The comment was practically spat out as he glared at Dooku. He knew he was most likely just making matters worse but it didn't matter. He pulled himself to sit down, avoiding touching anyone. This was so gross, he would need a long shower later.]
Like what? Please, do enlighten me while we wait in this disgusting cell you got us in.
no subject
You will find out in due time, I assure you. Instead, why don't we pass the time by discussing the fate of that toy you were so proud of? Starkiller, I believe it was called.
no subject
Starkiller was still such a sore subject for him- that project had been most of his life and it had been taken away in a moment.]
That 'toy' did what you failed to do- it took down a Republic. It doesn't matter if it was destroyed, it did what it was supposed to do and we have the resources to build many more Starkillers...or anything else.
no subject
My movement split the Republic and cleared the way for it to be replaced by something better. You destroy when you should subvert, Hux. It is wasteful to eliminate what you could otherwise control. This weakness shall be your downfall.
no subject
[He sneered with obvious disdain. He had been born nearly 20 years after the end of the Clone Wars but he had learned enough from his lessons at the Academy and talked enough to Anakin Skywalker to piece together what happened.]
And do you really think we didn't control the Republic before it's destruction? Sometimes you have to start over, obliterate the rot before it spreads further.
no subject
[He smiles with arrogance, ignoring the reminder of his death.]
In a way, I am your creator.
no subject
No, he refused to concede anything to Dooku even if there was some truth in his words.]
If anyone created me, it's Sidious. I'm his heir, not yours.
no subject
Ah, but you never knew Lord Sidious personally, did you? He died before your time. Whereas I learned at his feet for over ten years. I knew his will and his power in a way you never could, and never will.
no subject
[If anyone knows what it feels like to be betrayed and cast aside, it's Hux. Father issues, what father issues?]
I know enough about him. He is the reason the First Order thrived- he gave us the resources before his death....and after.
no subject
[Including another apprentice in mind, as it turned out. Dooku steels his face, tries not to show how much the reminder of his death rankles.]
It is the way of things. Treachery is the way of the Sith. I only regret that I did not destroy him first. If I had, you would have been born and raised in a Galaxy shaped by my will.
no subject
[Granted, he had no idea what Palpatine was really picturing but he liked to think that he exceeded the former Emperor's expectations. He had no hero worship of Palpatine- he considered himself something more- someone greater.]
And what would that have looked like?
no subject
[Dooku sniffs, free to question his Master's judgement at last, here while he's safely in another universe.]
I would certainly never have sanctioned the destruction of Alderaan. A waste of culture, not to mention a clumsy act guaranteed to provoke further rebellion.
no subject
I agree with you about Alderaan. All it accomplished was giving the rebels a rallying point and made Leia Organa a martyr. It gave her more power.
He didn't cripple the Rebellion's supplies or resources- Alderann was hardly a military threat.
[A pause.]
When I destroyed the Hosnian System I carved the heart out of the Republic. Our strike took out their fleet, their leadership- the entire Senate was in session when Starkiller was fired.
