WHO: Armitage Hux and Bodhi Rook
WHERE: warehouse
WHEN: night of October 2nd/early morning of October 3rd
WHAT: murder fun times
WARNINGS: murder, torture, violence. very bad things.
burning down the house- bodhi rook
[It wasn't difficult to get one of his new 'allies' to grab the pilot, knocking him unconscious to make it easier to get him where they wouldn't be interrupted. It was really a simple plan, Hux was rather pleased with himself even though he had a long night ahead of him.
Once Bodhi was securely tied to chair in they left were alone in the middle of a bare room. He would have let Bodhi wake up on his own but he was on a bit of a schedule. Punctuality was important.]
Time to wake up, pilot. [He peeled his gloves off as he looked at the pilot tied to the chair. He reached out to lightly slap the pilot's cheek just enough to get him to wake up.]
I have quite an evening planned for us so you won't want to miss out on anything.

You know it's not permanent. You kill me, I'll just be back and you'll have -- a bunch of angry rebels to deal with.
[ Bodhi glared up at the other man as he approached. If the man was going to kill him, he would at least -- he lashed out with a hasty kick towards the other man's legs. ]

And yes, I'm sure they will be angry, they will want to come after me. But you, you will caution them because you know what I'm capable of.
[Hux wasn't expecting Bodhi to kick out, nearly tripping as he stumbled forward. He barely managed not to fall on his face, that would certainly not be dignified.
Bodhi seemed to have some fight left in him and he stomped on the man's leg hard, digging the heel of his boot into the burn there.]

They could take you.
[ He hadn't been expecting that to nearly work, he manages a wan smile but it's lost in another yell as Hux steps on his burned leg, grinding it in. ]

[Hux pulled his foot back, taking a moment to wipe his boot on the ground to get anything off of it. He didn't want to get too messy.]
So, how do you want to die, pilot? I could set you on fire, watch you burn.
[He checked the time on his phone for a moment, he didn't want to take too much longer since he still had to shower, change, and then go take care of Poe Dameron.]
Explosion? So many possibilities.

After. ]
Get it over with.

[The fire appeared in the palm of Hux's right hand, lingering there for a moment.]
I think that you can take a little bit of time to savor your last moments. After all, you didn't get that on Scarif, did you? Just a flash of light then...gone.
[He nudged at Bodhi's body with the tip of his foot, inspecting the burns before flicking the flame to ignite Bodhi's feet, slowly moving up his legs..]
Look at me, Bodhi Rook. I want to make sure I'm the last thing you see.

Bodhi could feel the smoke in his lungs and coughed, a painful, hacking noise, briefly cutting off his screaming. ]

The Death Star was gone, Tarkin was dead, nothing would bring them back. But Bodhi represented what was weak in the Empire, the same weakness he sought to destroy in the new Imperial rule.
He was sure the pilot would be back but he doubted that Bodhi would be much trouble to him in the future. The other rebels, well, they would pose some trouble but he would make sure they had other things on their hands.]
no subject
No, that had been saved for now.
Gasping for air that wasn't filled with smoke, he found himself looking up towards the ceiling (not at Hux, even dying he wasn't going to follow anymore Imperial orders) wishing it was the stars above - even as darkness started to cloud his vision. The pain that had been so intense only moments before seemed lessened, somehow. It wouldn't be much longer, it wouldn't... His thoughts strayed. To Jyn. Cassian. And Kay.
... it wasn't any of your fault...
I'm sorry.
As Hux moved the flame upwards, towards his chest, his ragged breaths slowed after a few moments as he was unable to force anymore air into his lungs, then stopped completely.
For the second time in as many months, Bodhi Rook was dead. ]

He waited until Bodhi had gasped his last breath, nudging the body with the tip of his foot to make sure of the pilot's demise.
The rebels would no doubt be looking for him but Hux would make sure the pilot was put where he belonged. One underling was enough to be given the task of dumping Bodhi's body into a ditch somewhere while Hux headed back home.
He wasn't finished for the night, he needed a long shower to get any unpleasant smells off of him. The last thing he needed was for Poe to wake up when he smelled Hux. Once showered he was changed and on his way to take care of another pilot.]
