WHERE: Maurtia Falls & Nonah.
WHEN: Today.
WHAT: A morning/afternoon in the life of an especially active Sara Lance.
WARNINGS: None.
Maurtia Falls | morning:
Sara slept in a little this morning, not getting out of bed until 7:00 AM, and breakfast, dressed and out the door by 7:45. She's dressed for a morning run, because that's what she's doing. She does this for about an hour, until she finally decides to call it a morning with that and decides to end her outing by treating herself to a post-run coffee before heading back to her housing for a bit. She's not opposed to company if you want to sit and chat with her while she finishes her coffee.
Nonah | afternoon:
And then she travels to another city for her afternoon, just to mix things up, and with the goal of spending her afternoon at a place with a rock climbing wall. She's usually an active person anyway, but today she's doing a lot of it since she's got the time. (This also means she will probably pass the hell out so fast tonight when she goes to bed, but, it's worth it.)
She doesn't spend as much time doing rock climbing walls as she'd like, but she's still decent at it since she's got the leg and arm muscles for it. Come join and try to race her to the top or something!

Maurtia Falls
The occasional glance goes Sara's way (along with a polite nod if they happen to lock eyes), but mostly Twice's attention is stuck on an old municipal building across the street with a fanciful statue on the domed portion of its roof, as she sketches out its bones, admittedly more in the way of an architect than an artist.

"The architecture has flavour, I'll give it that." She comments with a half smile.

All with the distant, slightly monotonous voice of either the very bored or the very distracted.

Though judging by the lack of amusement on her face, that might be more funny-strange than funny-haha??
maurtia falls; morning
When she's at the park, she slips into an old effort to occupy her time: knife arts. Knowing it would be kind of dangerous to just start throwing them about the park, Mai decides it'll be safer to juggle them. She continues adding more and more knives until she gets to the comfortable amount of five.
However, five is a little too much for her to manage, especially with the low amounts of sleep. While trying to fling it up, she twists her wrist in the incorrect angle, instead flinging the knife right towards Sara. Luckily, the incorrect angle also means it's not pitched at a speed that's trying to kill. Instead, it kind of tumbles and glides in the air, like a clumsy desperate football.
Mai feels the mistake almost instantly and her voice cries out to give the girl warning, "Watch out!"

She could try to catch it out of the air (her reflexes aren't superhuman, but they are pretty damn good), but that would be risky, so she turns to the sound of the voice and quickly stops to dodge. When it lands nearby, she picks it up and twirls it lightly in her hand, just to get a feel for it and its weight (what? she likes weapons...) before offering it to the woman -- the safe way, by its handle.
"Most of my knife throwing is at a target. That's impressive, though." She offers a smile.

"Same, but I thought it might be too dangerous to do it in a public place and I'm not really sure how the government will feel if I start treating my apartment like a pin cushion," Mai continues. "Throwing blades is a hobby of mine, so it's nice I have a power to match. Are you an imPort?"
She's asking for the sake of clarification. She just wants to know if she got lucky in having the blade's target be a competent fighter and citizen.

"I've been here so far for five days. So far, most of my days are filled with training so I can be the face of the new morning show: Smiles for Miles," Despite the cheerful name, Mai's voice doesn't contain one positive inflection. They truly picked the grayest girl for the job of the sunny newscaster.
She sighs before she continues, "I spend most of my day learning how to pronounce things and the pop culture around here. I hate having to deal with people, so I don't know why I was selected for the job," If Mai hasn't struck Sara has a teenager by now, a healthy dose of griping should quickly confirm her age.
