Unintentional Hide and Seek
WHO: Genda and whoever else
WHERE: Different cafes around Heropa and Nonah
WHEN: March 18th and 19th
WHAT: Accidental Jump scares due to unconscious power shenanigans.

Genda had fallen back into a very routine habit after the initial arrival a month ago. Which would not have been much of a problem if not for the fact a major part of that routine was catching up various discrepancies between this world and his world in order to maintain the grade point average that had been drilled into him to strive for. Considering nothing less then the absolute best meant that if not a perfect record then nothing below a 97 was allowed, a feat a bit daunting when an entire class was about a country you were not native too and what general idea you had of said country did not match up due to this being an alternate universe. This coupled with his part time job, soccer practice (no matter how distressingly easy that was in this place.), and the project that he had been assigned by Kidou when he arrived that he had complicated on his own out of sheer need to have readily available information in easy reach...Well someone had been running full steam without pause or breaks this entire time.
Physically he had been making certain it hadn't gotten to the point of noticeable neglect; as it would have been called out far too quickly on the soccer field with Kidou watching. Mentally however, was another story. It was likely why when the weekend comes again and managed to dodge any and all instances of the Swear-in on Friday, instead of allowing himself a moment to breath Genda is once more using the libraries of Heropa and Nonah to acquire books for referencing the latest topic that needed verifying from one of the posts he's been transcribing. Normally such would remain in said libraries, but Genda was also using what little excess money he had saved in order to use tea, and the busier surroundings such places acquire in hopes it would help in keeping him mentally aware during these tasks.
It doesn't work as well as he hopes, as an overly exhausted mind tends to wander and blank at the worst moments. Moments that are now compounded a bit as that almost zen state seems to be a trigger for that ability he was given to blend into the background. Only for such to snap away just as quickly when he manages to shake himself back into the land of coherent thought. This causes quite a few shocks and jumps when those around him suddenly have the realization he's there. Quite like how when you're focused too deeply on something you don't notice someone standing right next to you until they give you a heart attack by announcing their presence. Most seem to be ready to jot such moments as their own minds wandering as Genda is pretty much quiet and unobtrusive in the corners of these cafes he has been using as study areas.
Of course more observant people or imPorts that know a fledgling power when they see it may decide to poke into this further. After all someone falling off the general radar and then popping back on sporadically like that isn't exactly normal. Even if such spells seem very infrequent and at least thirty or more minutes apart. That or be that concerned person that recognizes the signs of a mental break on the rise.
