WHERE: that one import school place in the kitchen

Since it's his birthday Agito has expressly forbidden him from helping to bake the cake, but since he's Akito, he doesn't exactly listen. He stays transformed into their go-to bird form and perches on top of Agito's head to watch the trainwreck, twittering nonsensical songs that not even Agito can translate beyond the feeling of amusement seeping into him from his other half.
"Fuck, this was supposed to be a surprise you know."
Akito trills the most amused note yet, and this time Agito understands what is meant by it - that he can't keep secrets like this from Akito. Especially not if they involve sweets.
Speaking of which...
He hands a quarter of a strawberry for Akito to grab in his little claws, effectively shutting him up for a while as he tries to figure out why the fuck the batter doesn't look right this time. (His last attempt is still splattered over a good portion of the kitchen, because somehow cakes can fucking explode all over you.)
A chirp.
"If this one turns out like shit too then fine, we can just go buy one."
