WHO: Anastasya and Krul
WHERE: Somewhere in Heropa?
WHEN: Early March-ish
WHAT: A random encounter!
WARNINGS: Talking of vampires probably.
[Anastasya was on her way to her usual afternoon stop, a small tea shop a few blocks from her office, when she spotted the woman. Pink hair, but that didn't mean anything obvious here (even if she still had to get used to it), but it was the ears that caught her attention. And then a flash of something...fangs, maybe?]
[Hm.]
[She almost let her walk by, really. There were a few other vampires here but the odds of it being one, were, well, nearly astronomical. She'd only spoken to two of them since she arrived, and one of them was gone now. And her own...condition...was a secret. And yet she couldn't help but hide her curiosity.]
[So it was really at the last second when she said something, just before Krul would have passed by, when she spoke up. Dressed in a black skirt and dark green blouse, and looking all of about eighteen, hopefully Krul wouldn't think she was some kind of import groupie...]
Excuse me...are you an import?

She doesn't understand and doesn't want to. Humans are enough of a headache as it is.
But it's when she's flat out asked something that isn't about her hair or her eyes or a comment about how cute she looks that causes her to stop, a tilt of her head to glance to the one who has attempted to-- and snagged her attention. ]
I prefer to be called a vampire. Not an import.
[ She really doesn't care what the proper lingo is here in terms of who is who. She is a vampire and will be called a vampire. ]
What do you want?

Actually, that's what I was going to ask. Don't see a lot of vampires walking around during the day. Or...at all, really.
[She only knew of a handful.]
Couldn't help but be curious. And import is something of an overarching category, isn't it? I mean, I'm not fond of it, but I don't chafe under it either.

Maybe I'm just special.
[ Or has access to something that is able to protect her from the sun's rays. ]
Humans fall under that category, don't they? [ Of being an import. ] I'd rather not be associated with them.

Interesting. Many things fall into that catagory. Necromancers and lizard men and dragons and...strange alien people called trolls.
It's a bit of a ubiquitis term.

Is there something that you want?
[ The enchantment she wears protects her from the sun's rays but even so, it has a tendency to drain her and so it's why she's been keeping to the more shaded parts while being out and about. ]
Or do you enjoy striking up idle chit chat with anyone who happens to catch your interest?
