Ken Kaneki / Haise Sasaki
[ Kaneki never planned on visiting Liechtenstein. In fact, he doesn't know a lot about the country, other than its geography, but ever since he arrived there, he made it his objective to read more upon the country's history. Why does a small country like that, surrounded by USA allies, allied itself with Russia, anyway? Searching the internet for information if fine and dandy, but it eventually bores him.
with a sigh, he turns to the closest person ]
We should get out and go see the city. [ not just for tourism, but also because it'd be probably the best to have a look at the laboratories from the outside and see the streets. maps and pictures are fine, but it doesn't compare to the actual thing.
And he really doesn't want to be stuck in the apartment they are currently staying in. ]
NIGHT
[ Kaneki has a healthy dose of paranoia (he calls it healthy. It's questionable, though). Not as much as he had before, but he is still paranoid of his surroundings and has a hard time trusting places he doesn't know. He certainly doesn't know Liechtenstein (he never planned on visiting it either), and you could say they are currently in a den of wolves and a lot could go wrong, so Kaneki has decided to patrol at night.
Since he doesn't sleep much, that's how he spends a lot of his time in USA. And it's one of the things he does best, actually. Not only because he is a ghoul and had to learn how to lurk in the shadows, he also worked for the CCG and they taught him very well - Kaneki has learned to slip inside buildings, to jump through rooftops, to pay attention to every small details - like sounds, light, or even smell - and he learned to secure places and areas.
That's what he is doing right now. Not too far from the building the team is currently at, Kaneki finds a the highest rooftop of the area to make sure there are no unwanted visitors around. Since he is wearing all black and even his mask while on top of the tallest rooftop in the block, it'll be hard for a normal person to find him.
Unless you aren't a normal person and instead an imPort. If you know who you are looking for, finding Kaneki is possible, certainly. ]
Night
(She fell through the stairs at her and Sarah's place a while back, yes, but that's not really the point.)
Clambering up, Sarissa hauls herself onto the rooftop with a skill that speaks of a childhood spend climbing trees and rooftops and places she wasn't meant to be, finding footholds and hauling herself up. Once she's up she does look back down and make a face about how in the balls she's gonna get down, but hey - she's got this. )
That was a workout and a half.
( Her tone is quietly joking, voice quiet, but her expression is more serious. ) Seen anything exciting, Chief?

Kaneki looks back at her for a second, asking himself why is she even there, but he doesn't want to be rude ]
No. It's a quiet city. A quiet country, I guess. [ who would have thought they'd be directly involved with releasing over 400 crazy murderers from an american prison. ]
Are you patrolling, too?

And if you are worried people might see us and question our presence, well, we have fake IDs. [ and it's not weird for a country that isn't under lock and key to have people from other countries there ]

( Don't be alarmed, or anything, but Sarissa is pressing her hand over her ribs to test them, and seeming a little disatisfied. There's no wince or gasp of pain, but there is the slightest look in her eyes that suggests ooowwwwww motherfuucckeerrrrr. You know, that look. )
We got a first aid kit knockin' about anywhere?
ABBEY.
( Sarissa just dramatically pulled an Abbot into a kiss, made out with him in the dramatic corners of a hallway, and let him get far more handsy than she typically would associate with a man who'd taken such vows. She clears her throat, rolls her shoulders, and walks into their little safe haven. )
That was absolutely the worst kiss of my entire life, ( she complains, almost immediately. )
WILDCARD.
Seriously, hit me with whatever.
patchwork!
He idly tosses her a roll of gauze to work with, as though her pain is otherwise not very exceptional.]
no subject
( She catches the gauze with her right hand, hitched up her shirt with her left, and holds it up with her teeth. There's a slightly wet sound as it peels away from her skin, and she makes a quiet sound of surprise as she looks at the slice across her ribs, blood smudged all about it.
Yeah, that's what she was poking. Dryly: )
Hey, from this angle it looks like a smiley face.
( Although she says that with fabric between her teeth, so it may have come out a little muffled. )

Knowing how paranoid the other Batman is, I'm surprise we don't have an entire suitcase full of first aid supplies.
[Or maybe there is, and Bruce just didn't think it something Terry should know about.]
What happened?
no subject
( Sarissa grins, the teasing good natured, and eases up the right side of her shirt. There are old scars on her stomach - couple of bullet wounds, old gash and stab marks - and reveals a nasty stretch of grazing and bruising. There's a sizeable stretch of skin that's. Wen dragged away, it looks like. )

When Sarissa comes back, he tries to smile. But he can't. ] Well, that sure was... something.
He won't be calling the authorities, uh?
no subject
No, he will not. If I just sacrificed my standards to a gross old man with a dubious grasp on his vows and he calls the authorities, I'll be mad as a cut snake, I fuckin' tell you.
( She stops, a Dramatic Moment, and leans towards Kaneki. ) Is there any way that Darlene can not hear about that? I kind of value the small bit of dignity I have left.

When Sarissa comes in, she turns her head without breaking her concentration. The cringe she gives her almost does, though. ]
Oh my god. You didn't.
SORRY FOR MY SLOW
( She sticks out her tongue in a sort of blargh, argh, glargh of not-quite-silent distaste. ) I think I managed to avoid any hickies, thankfully.

[This is not how he was imagining his first-ever trip to Europe. Honestly, he'd never even heard of Lichtenstein before the trip got brought up to him by the old man, but hey, outside of all the spy stuff it's a vacation, right?
First off, sure, Lichtenstein's pretty but why are there so many cows? Terry isn't quite sure he's even seen this many cows in one place before.
Second, he never imagined spending his free time in a brown wig and a domino mask. Bruce had tried to give him some kind of old timey gangster/pirate disguise or something, but yeah that's not happening. At least he isn't crazy enough to wander the streets like that, instead opting for some prosthetics to help mask his facial features. The only reason he wears the domino mask at all is the fact that he needed help with the prosethetics, and there's only so many times he's going to either Wayne for that.
After staring out the window for what felt like the millionth time to count cows, he finally turns around and sighs an exasperated sigh only a teenager is capable of.]
Please tell me there's something to do around here.
On the roof at night
[Terry couldn't take it anymore; his scalp was itching like you wouldn't believe, and the adhesive holding the domino mask was driving him up a wall. He quickly disappears into his room and discards both, then changes into his Batman costume. Sure, a full body costume isn't exactly much better on the comfort scale, but at least this is something he's used to.
Seeing as wearing a costume in the building where they're staying is just a little conspicuous, Terry quickly makes his way up to the roof, camouflaging himself using his suit's cloaking feature to keep from being noticed. Once on the roof he sits on the edge, admiring the view. Of course, given how there are apparently no large buildings in the entire country of Lichtenstein, an eagle-eyed member of the menagerie might notice him sitting up there. He isn't completely noticeable--he made sure of that before sitting down--but he's no Batman the elder in his cloaking skills either.]
night
What he didn't expect was company. Terry is quiet enough, but a ghoul can still hear very well and kaneki is no different - he hides for a second, just to make sure it's not someone suspicious and then he sees a Bat. ]
Out for a hunt?
no subject
[He stands and stretches.]
Maybe once Kanaya gets those animal costumes done, but I don't think that Batman suddenly showing up in Lichtenstein right before what we're going to do would go over too well.
I just needed to get that stupid mask off my face. Fresh air's a nice bonus.
[To say nothing of the wig, but he figures it's probably better not to draw attention to the fact he's wearing one in the first place.]
What about you? Going out and doing something exciting?

She has to keep mostly to the rooms they have rented, stomping about temperamentally and impatiently. She can't feel useful while she's cooped up like this, and feels guilty instead when she tries to pass the time by reading. Even listening to German tapes frustrates her, because she can't think of any way she'll be able to use it, not to mention her pronunciation is terrible.
Throughout the week, one might encounter her doing the following:
a. Shadow-boxing.
b. Cleaning literally everything.
c. Complaining that no one is helping her keep literally everything clean.
d. Demanding someone purchase her a very large hat. The biggest they can find.
e. Using said hat to construct a very, very crude human disguise to go out into town in search of a sewing machine.
f. Dragging team members away to take their measurements.
g. Making some stupid costumes with previously mentioned sewing machine.
h. Wildcard! ]
