[It's a very dim hope. He'll need eleven people just for one team, and if he ever wants a real match, he'll need to source twenty-two ImPorts who not only have the abilities to handle true soccer, but also the inclination. It doesn't seem all that realistic a goal.
But... it can be a goal. There's hope there.
Of course, none of this means that Kidou has any chance of having an answer to that question yet. Now that he's had some time to sit here and let the scents of various cooked meats and fried things sink in, he's confirmed that food sounds pretty amazing right now... but that's not the only reason Kidou's grateful when Patty reappears with a platter, sets it down, and starts divvying out orders.
He's only started to get used to portion sizes in America. For all that Josuke ordered, Kidou had managed to underestimate the sheer size of the plates being put on their table. From the sounds of things (and Kidou's count - he'd been paying attention enough to remember), this is about a fourth of it. He ends up watching them, bemused, completely unable to imagine being able to stomach all this. Patty has the right idea, testing this much first...
But he won't say that out loud. Instead, he turns his attention down to his own plate when it's set in front of him. Along with his burger, he's been given a pickle and french fries in large wedges thicker than his finger. The fries are left to wait, just in case they're too hot to handle yet, so that leaves the burger. And with that, any chance of him answering that question anytime soon is lost. He's not hesitating to start in.
He'll still be thinking about that question, though.]
