Stuff Grown Ups Do [Jesse]
WHO: Daisy Johnson and Jesse Pinkman
WHERE: Heropa
WHEN: February 7th
WHAT: Moving in together
WARNINGS: None as of right now, will edit if something comes up.
[Maybe there would never be a ‘right time’ to move in with Jesse because things never seemed to stay calm around here, but this was so beyond what she needed right now. A distraction, even if it wouldn’t last long. Plus with her now registered and trying to appear as if she’s finally obeying the law to a more hero extent rather than being a vigilante, moving in with Jesse would also send the media into a frenzy but she was pretty good at ignoring that.
Of course, moving in right now was also a pain. Literally. Having gone out with Robbie the other night in order to try and deal with some of the convicts that were on the loose and ending up getting stabbed in the thigh for it. It was honestly a little embarrassing that all it took for her to go down was one wrong move. She still hasn’t told Jesse about that though because he still doesn’t really understand what her relationship was with Robbie.
Thankfully Daisy didn’t have many boxes worth of stuff and everything else was pretty much new. Lugging the last box into the house, Daisy took a seat on the new couch that still had the plastic covering on it. Wincing as she lifted her leg to put it up on one of the boxes.]
That was honestly a lot quicker than I expected.
[Daisy said once Jesse came back inside from talking to one of the men outside who had brought over some of the furniture.]

As soon as the last of them are gone and Jesse's back inside, he makes a beeline for the fridge and pulls out a couple of icy beers. He'd had the forethought to stock it ahead of time.]
Unpacking won't be so quick.
[He pops a bottle open and hands it to Daisy, then pops the other for himself.]

[Can she just not move for the rest of the day? That'd be great. Looking at the beer that's held out for her, Daisy leans forward to take it from him.]
Knew there was a reason I keep you around. Thank you.
[Taking a swig of her beer, Daisy patted the spot on the couch next to her.]
Just seeing you stand there is making me exhausted.
[He probably wasn't though. What with his power and everything.]
