WHO: elliot alderson & jon snow.
WHERE: de chima #004
WHEN: early feb.
WHAT: housemates!!!
WARNINGS: n/a will edit if any.
[ When Jon first showed up the place had likely been a shitshow. Sarissa had crashed nearly until Christmas, Darlene visited occasionally, Elliot lived in his lounge room and still hadn't really cleaned up after the break in. But he did his best to pull is all together, sweep all the clutter back into his own space, wash sheets ana's put couch cushions back and do the dishes.
Despite all this good karma housemate activity, he slowly becomes aware that the guy he's living with probably isn't used to dishes and fridge space and tv. Which is cool. Meeting weirdos from anywhere other than dystopian America is one of the things Elliot likes about this place, even if he's too anxious and socially awkward to really put himself out there.
That's also probably why he and Jon haven't seen much of each other: Elliot basically lives in his room, staring at screens all night and sleeping in the day. He's probably better friends with Ghost — his bull terrier Sudo still hasn't decided what he thinks of the pale direwolf.
Anyway. It's probably a surprise to see Elliot up during daylight hours. He does the dishes — he'll even do Jon's dishes because he finds it soothing, a reminder of the dull safety of his routine in prison. ]
Hey, man.
[ The usual nod of greeting, a couple of words, that's ordinary. But then he asks a question, which is new. ]
'S your world have computers?

When the blackout happened, he had been away for several days, focused instead on the city's defense. It lead to even less time being spent at their flat. When finally he did return, Elliot seemed to always be asleep or out. Only Ghost could tell Jon about whether the man could be trusted. Since Elliot was not dead and Ghost lounged about as though this were home, it at least lowered Jon's guard.
After having dressed himself for the day, he had expected to be met with the same silence that he was used to. Yet, Ghost was seated near Elliot, resting his head on his paws and there was even noise in the flat. He wasn't a stranger to cleaning up messes, but it had always been appreciated when Elliot did them without his knowing.]
A what?
