WHO: Shelke and Aerith
WHERE: De Chima #001
WHEN: Early December
WHAT: Aerith checking on Shelke and her deteriorating condition.
WARNINGS: Maybe some talk of disease? Probably nothing though.
Shelke supposed she should have expected the visit from Aerith. The woman had been checking on her every few days since she had arrived, and even she could admit her condition was starting to decline. Rationing her mako supply could only take her so far, and the amount she'd reduced herself to was not really sustainable.
But what choice did she have, really? She had asked for help, she was waiting on results, but she knew it was a long shot. Part of her though it would be better to just stop, but there was always that nagging voice in her ear, the one that sounded like Shalua, telling her she couldn't give up. It was almost annoying, really.
She tried to cover it up, but something must have come out in their call. Maybe she sounded more tired than she realized? Either way, Aerith had said she was coming over, and Shelke knew enough of the woman to be sure there was little point in arguing. So, there she was, seated on the steps in front of her house, dressed in a pair of jeans, a simple t-shirt and a light pink coat. She was idling flipping through her phone as she waited, just reading the network. That didn't require any energy at all, at least.
