WHO: Lucy and Edmund
WHERE: The route from the office to the farm
WHEN: Eveningtimes
WHAT: Lucy doesn't need an escort, Edmund!!! (but it doesn't hurt)
WARNINGS: Narnians.
[ Really, it should be no surprise at all, considering. Lucy is not unlike Peter, if Peter is not about, even though she is smiling and fair and light-hearted when he is. But when it comes down to it, if there is work to be done, Lucy is the first to roll her sleeves up and pitch in. Lucy is the first one to volunteer for a new project. And she's not remotely bothered with any long hour, if it means helping someone in the end.
But it's been over a year of this, and even an eighteen year old can't carry on her pace forever.
They're riding, Lucy lagging a bit, which is a bit of a surprise, because she is usually one to keep pace. She isn't drooping, though. She's still awake for the moment. ]
You did not have to fetch me. The Lady Knight would have done so.
