[Daryl's habits had him up before dawn to get the chickens taken care of and then go off for a hunt when he needed to feed or felt like bringing back some fresh game for the house. Tommy, Carl's springer spaniel that was staying over far more often than Carl did, usually went with him to get some training in. The breed was known for being a good bird dog and Daryl saw no reason not to teach it up right. Also with him usually went his ravens, Jackhammer and Nailgun. Newly adopted about mid-month and now a regular sight with him or Mako when he had to go off where they couldn't. He'd return at some point but largely kept to himself even if it wasn't at the very end of the day, when night had taken over and Mako sat out on the couch wrapped in a blanket waiting for him.
It wasn't exactly intentional, but between his job, the safehouse project, his habits, and hobbies, Daryl had ended up avoiding Sasaki (Keneki?) for the majority of the month.
This morning, however, he walked into the kitchen, blood stains on his shirt (far too close to the collar to be normal blood splatter, some was even on his neck like it'd dripped there and the majority had been wiped away) and a duck by the legs in one hand. He'd heard the kid banging around in there before he came in, so he was prepared to see him and didn't have any apparent reaction to doing so. Just made sure to give him room while he pulled out the big cutting board and a bucket and set himself up in one corner of the room to pluck and butcher the bird. On the floor.]
Late November because Daryl is a dick

Mornin'.
[At least he was being cordial?]
