[Maybe he should really be taking advantage of the whole "I can go out during the day while I'm here" thing more often...but honestly. After spending years and years and years and years being out exclusively at night, he kind of misses it sometimes. Besides, at least it's not absurdly late right now or anything, so. His and Hyunsoo's sleep schedules aren't in any immediate dangers.

There's no pressing matter to attend to right now anyway, but he figured they might as well buy some miscellaneous things for their room. It's a good enough reason for him, because even Yukyun doesn't actually want to stay indoors literally 24/7.

He hands his bag of supplies to Hyunsoo for a moment without even turning to look and see if the other guy'll grab it or not- letting go and using the opportunity to stretches his arms and let out a long, content sigh. It's like he's emerging from the grave and finally using his legs for the first time in years. Probably more like a couple of days...It feels good to be out though.]

Not a bad late night stroll, don't you think? Come on, admit it. You've been missing the nightlife too.

[He has no idea if Hyunsoo actually does or not, but he's sure he'll get a huffy reaction either way.]

[ If anyone else were to see the two of them, they would probably assume that Hyunsoo just doesn't want to be there right now. He looks grumpy at least, like he'd rather be anywhere than with this guy right here and right now, and even though he accepts the bag without protest - for now - and holds it in his arms like it's normal to suddenly have to hold it, he's still pouting a little bit.

Honestly, Hyunsoo just is used to being up at night at this point.. Even though he's still a human, he's been around Yukyun for long enough now that he just adapted to the vampire's sleeping schedule for the most part. Until this place started screwing with it again, anyway.

Is he ever going to say Yukyun is right about anything though? Of course not. That's exactly what that frown on his face is all about. ]

Why would I miss that?! [ Yup, exactly the huffy reaction the other was hoping for. Even though the vampire wasn't even really teasing him to begin with here.. it's just started to become a natural reaction to pretty much anything the other says.

He stares down at the bag, half debating if he should just tell Yukyun to carry it himself - even though it would doubtlessly still end up with Hyunsoo carrying it, considering how whipped he is for the other. Not that it means he doesn't still intensely frown at the bag as if it's all the bag's fault he's here in this current situation.

But just as he's thinking about all of it, a strange feeling suddenly hits him. Almost a little like suddenly feeling dizzy.. and a feeling he's definitely felt one time before. By the time he realises what it is though, it's already too late. Because all Yukyun might hear is the sound of the bag dropping to the floor with a big thud, and Hyunsoo not standing where he was just standing.

... Well, unless he looks down. ]

[It's funny that- despite the fact that they're in a completely different place...different enough that Yukyun can walk around during the day if he wants to-...but this is exactly the same. Maybe it's not that surprising, considering Hyunsoo is going to give him that same huffy response no matter where they are. Ahhh it feels like clockwork.

He wouldn't have actually been surprised if the bag had fallen to the ground, since he did kind of blindly throw it back there. Except there's a bit of a delay, and he doesn't think Hyunsoo would actually just smash it onto the ground.

So when Yukyun turns around, something actually does manage to catch him completely off guard. So if it's any consolation to Hyunsoo, he gets to see a look of pretty genuine surprise on the guy's face when he turns around and can't spot Hyunsoo anywhere...and then again when he looks down.

He stares at the fluffy white dog for a moment- everything slowly clicking into place. It's not like he can be 100% sure from one look, but...given the place they're in...

He bends down and grabs either side of the dog's face with his hands- giving it a gentle smooshing/rubbing motion.]

Hah. Don't even tell me...

[ Even if there was a consolation to Hyunsoo in all of this, it would all be wiped away the moment Yukyun picks up the dog like that. Because Hyunsoo knows what's coming. Yes, he has the power to change into a dog, very funny. Hilarious. He'd think "don't you dare make fun of me for it," but it's Yukyun. He's going to make fun of it for sure.

Not like Hyunsoo can do much about it while he's a dog. Or even if he wasn't a dog, it's not like he doesn't just have to take all the teasing anyway - so maybe in that aspect there's not much of a difference.

If there's anything that tells the vampire that this dog is definitely Hyunsoo, it's the fact the small fluffy thing looks as close to pouty as a dog can get. And that it's immediately barking in response - not in any threatening way, much like the human Hyunsoo, but in a way that definitely means it's trying to defend itself (or in this case, its honor) in vain. ]

[At least Hyunsoo's expecting to get made fun of, because he's absolutely right. Yukyun seems almost weirdly confident that it is Hyunsoo...especially given the fact that turning into a dog isn't exactly normal, or something the other guy had ever done before, or ever said anything out. But to be honest, even if the dog didn't end up being Hyunsoo, and he looked like a total idiot, he still wouldn't be phased by it at all. Besides, it's a close enough comparison.

Yukyun lets out a laugh as soon as the dog starts barking, and he leans over to scoop him up in his arms easily- lifting him up off the ground and holding him lion king style (except facing him...and Hyunsoo-dog is still bigger than that).

Yeah...if the other guy was going to turn into a dog, this would absolutely 100% be what it'd look like.]

Well, well, well...has someone been keeping a secret?

[ His leg kick a little in protest at being lifted up like that, but they still the moment those words come out of the other guy's mouth. The making fun of him part he expected, yes, but even though Yukyun just means those words lightly, they're still enough to instinctively make his ears droop a little bit.

Because he does feel a little guilty.. even if this is nothing important, he doesn't want to keep secrets from Yukyun, not when he's basically devoted his entire life to doing anything at all for the vampire. And although this is meaningless in the long run, it still stings just a little, just enough for Hyunsoo to definitely look like a guilty dog right now. There's even a low whine escaping him.

(But come on, how was he supposed to bring that up!! "So guess what, I can change into a dog now"?! Yukyun would just make him transform for fun and he knows it.) ]

[Luckily for Hyunsoo, Yukyun really isn't too bothered by this big "secret being unveiled", even though he sure as hell is glad he knows now. Besides, there's no way he can be ruffled since the cat (dog) is out of the bag in this case...because seeing the other guy accidentally just change in the middle of the street is definitely worth finding out late.

And besides...think of all the things he could do with a dog! Probably a lot of really useless, pointless things, but ones that'll be fun for him.

He shifts ones hand to ruffle the fur on the top of Hyunsoo-dog's head.]

Don't look too down...

[He pauses though- a thought occurring to him. And Hyunsoo can probably see his eyes light up the second it hits him too.]

Unless........you're stuck like that?

[ For a moment it actually feels better. Because Hyunsoo already loves getting his hair ruffled by Yukyun normally - a kind of dumb gesture of affection, but Hyunsoo always eagerly laps up anything at all that the other throws his way - but as a dog it feels even better, just like how he oddly liked those pats Leon was giving him the last time that this happened.

A soft, content sort of sound even slips out, but all of that relaxing is gone the moment the vampire is asking something else again, making his ears droop less than before, but still a little bit, like a non-verbal say of saying "yes, I'm stuck." There's more nuance to it than that, like the fact he'll change back at a random time later, but it's kind of hard to convey that much when you're a dog. ]
