WHO: Ripley and Kagerou
WHERE: Heropa 7. They’re taking over the living room.
WHEN: Following this this thread
WHAT: Alien movie marathon!
WARNINGS:
[Alright: DVDs, check. Snacks, check. Comfy movie watchin’ blankets even though it’s August in Florida, check. This is all the makings of an awesome movie night and Ripley is SO EXCITED.
It’s been far too long, like, a whole two months, since she last watched Alien or any of it’s sequels (which is a crime really), and now she gets to share it with her giant robot friend! Nothing better.
--Oh, except. Uh. Oh gosh. She forgot he’s a giant robot. How is he going to fit in her house? Hopefully he can get tinier, she doesn’t actually know, or this might be a problem.
Oh well… she’ll just have to see when he gets here.]

[And then step lightly into the back of the house. It's probably a good thing it's evening. He's still not really comfortable with humans seeing him when he doesn't want them to.]
[... does he knock?]
[He'll try. Poking the door with a fingertip.]
no subject
Helloooooo! [She gives him a wide and welcoming smile.
…which a moment later turns into a mock-serious expression as she looks at him, looks inside the house, does some mental math regarding size and volume, and finally looks back at him. She nods slowly and muses:]
I don’t think you’ll fit.
[As if there was ever any doubt about that.]

[He looks at the house as well. Then at her. He takes a moment or two to process it, before stepping back from her. Just in case. This human has been very good. He's sure this won't hurt her but, just to be sure.]
[There's no magical girl sparkles or anime transformation. He just shifts where he stands. And where one moment there was a robot, the next, there's a scruffy-looking human being.]
Is this better?
no subject
And, right now, convenient.]
Oh, yeah, that'll do it!
Come oooon in! [Now that he actually can enter, she steps out of the doorway and gestures dramatically into the house.]
no subject
[He still hesitates, standing there barefoot out in the yard. But eventually pads up to the door. At least his transformation includes clothing. Otherwise, this would be a lot more awkward.]
You're sure this is all right?
no subject
Yeeaaaah? Why wouldn't it be?
[Apparently in the year and half that Ripley's been here she's completely forgotten the rule about not letting strange men into her house.]
no subject
And I'm... me.
[Is he, a robot, really allowed in a human's house so easily?]
no subject
[She's really not seeing the issues here and just continues to look absolutely perplexed. Human, robot, alien, purple lizard men, it's all the same to her.]
no subject
[But he's a robot!!]
[He sighs, but starts toward the house, arms folded tightly, like he's expecting someone to throw him out at any moment.]
no subject
And then immediately the excitement dial is turned up to ten and she completely forgets how slightly awkward things were half a second ago.]
Alrighty! Ive got snicky-snacks, mostly cookies really, and juice and I'm gonna make some popcorn. So get on that couch [she points towards the living room] and get ready for a cinematic experience!
no subject
What are those? The foods?
[Yeah guess who's been living on literally anything he can scavenge, because he's too nervous to enter his own house.]
[But he'll go sit anyway -- or, rather, perch on his heels like a bird.]
