may your life be like toilet paper - long and useful
WHO: Alison Hendrix and You!
WHERE: Heropa, here, there, everywhere!
WHEN: August 9 - 31
WHAT: Porting back in + whatever!
WARNINGS: None at this time.
Porting in with "gastric upset", wherever!
[Under normal circumstances, Alison Hendrix would be appalled that she has been ported back in this (comparably) grungy state - obvious dirt stains on her pants, one dead leaf tangled in her hair, and some unexplained grime under her fingernails - but she has more important things on her mind.
Namely the loud gurgling broadcasting from her belly and the inevitable "flood" that is about to follow.
So she hoofs it over to the closest door and knocks desperately.]
Hello! I'm... I need your help!
[And she mutters to herself, under her breath, as she continues knocking:]
Johnny Applesauce, this is a nightmare and a half...
[It's going to be a long day on her trek back to Heropa 31.]
Cleaning the bejeezus out of Heropa 31
[Some might argue that if a person has the power to clean an entire room doing nothing more than thinking hard about it, that would be the best way to proceed. But as much as Alison makes use of her power, there's always some niggling doubt in her mind that maybe the cleaning is still sub-par in a way it couldn't be if she put in the time and effort to actually clean. Besides, spending the time to do something as simple and ordinary as cleaning is a little therapeutic, after everything she's just been through.
She starts in the common areas and goes so far as to scrubbing the hallway-facing sides of her housemates' doors. And if her housemates have left a few personal items lying around, well, Alison has no doubt found a new and better home for them.]
Wildcard
Alison can be found all over in various locations due to her work as an event planner, so feel free to find her wherever! If you're interested in a specific prompt or want to talk plot, feel free to PM me or find me on plurk under "canuckleheaded"!

I don't--mind--but. Hell, the last thing you oughta be doing if you're feeling sick is cleaning my bathroom.
[His expression is pinched through with concern; he's looking her over as if he's expecting her to suddenly turn around and start throwing up again.]
At least rest here for a little while before you go, okay?
no subject
[She pauses, still embarrassed about how this firsts impression is going, but manages to press on for the sake of propriety.]
I'm Alison Hendrix. One of Sarissa's sisters.
[The last part almost sounds like an afterthought.]

It's nice to meetcha, Alison, I'm Kotetsu. Kotetsu Kaburagi.
[And he extends his hand for a shake. Okay, so maybe throwing up in a stranger's house isn't anyone's definition of a nice meeting, but whatever.]
I'd feel better if you sat down for an hour or something, though. I could um, get you some crackers and club soda?
[Does he even have club soda in his house, probably not. But there's a little corner store not far from here, he could go there and back pretty quick. ...Sorry, Alison, the house you came to contains a huge mother hen, he can't even help it.]
no subject
Well, it's nice to meet you as well, Kotetsu. But I really feel like I've intruded on you enough as it is--
[... nnnnooooppee, this time she can feel something else unclenching and she whirls around back into the bathroom, slamming the door unceremoniously behind her.]
no subject
There is in fact no club soda anywhere, but he does get a glass of cool water and sets that out with the crackers on the coffee table in front of the couch, and finally drags the trash can within reach as well.
When Alison emerges again, he insists--]
Don't push yourself, okay? Stay and rest for a bit, you'll feel better for heading wherever you gotta go.
[Man, this is one of the times he's regretting never getting a car here; he could've just driven her to her destination himself.]
no subject
It's very kind of you to go out of your way like this, but I'd honestly feel better getting--
[She stops short of saying "home". "Home" is where she's just come back from, when it comes down to it.]
... well, getting back to my "sharehouse" situation.
no subject
Do any of your housemates have a car? We could call 'em, see if they can pick you up. I dunno if you should go outside by yourself right now.
no subject
No, they don't. Well, maybe it's not a bad idea to have a quick lie-down...
SORRY!!! i kind of died tagwise for a bit there
Yeah. I'll call you a cab, okay? Tell 'em to come in a half hour.
[Does she have money with her? He's not sure, but he doesn't jump the gun to offer immediately, at least. The last thing he wants to do is spook her into changing her mind and deciding to hoof it back to her home instead.]
all good :)
[She settles gratefully onto the couch with a sigh, but looks at the saltine crackers a little askance. She's still not sure whether her roiling stomach is ready to handle anything, even the blandest of foods.]
So you're close friends with Sarissa?
[She's been gone for a month, but she hasn't really made an effort to meet any of her newest sister's friends, if she's going to be honest.]
and then app time ate me IM SORRY AGAIN im a mess unu;;;
[He says, as he takes out his comm and sets about calling that cab for her. When he's done, he settles on an edge of the coffee table instead of the couch, so as to avoid jostling her.]
She's my housemate. We haven't really, uh, talked much, 'cause our schedules are pretty different and stuff, but yeah. I didn't know she had sisters.
[Let alone identical ones. That's super cool, in Kotetsu's opinion.]
and i went on vacation, oops!!
[And Alison has the look of someone who is well and truly tired of telling that story.]
hahaha we are but ships in the night, clearly
no subject
[She's hoping he'll take the hint and leave it be.]
no subject
So, what's your world like?
no subject
Pretty normal, I guess. Or it certainly sounds like it compared to some of the stories I've heard here.
[Which is technically true!]
