- [ It sort of felt like sneaking around whenever Sasha spoke to or hung out with Junseo, but Jinseok was now gone (or it seems like it; she hasn't seen his name or face on the network in a while) so maybe it wasn't so sneaky anymore. She might have felt some guilt over it had Jinseok not been so rude to her... banning her from a hotel... among other things.
But thoughts of him are pushed aside when she meets up with Junseo, jogging up the pathway with a dog leash secured around her hand and wrist.
Or rather, getting dragged forward and running behind Sir Samson Fluffington the Third of Floof-upon-Tweed, one of Will's larger dog kids he allowed her to take out for the day. She doesn't think Junseo will be intimidated by his size. Sasha certainly isn't despite looking like she could use a breather, her face a bit red and sweaty, as they approach Junseo. ]
Hello, we're here! I'm sorry if I'm late.

Besides, with Jinseok gone Junseo could also use positive distractions. He'd given himself a month to sulk and mope by himself, but he was trying to get out more now. He was lonely, and he missed interacting with people here. He also knew that he couldn't do much to make Jinseok come back, because he couldn't do much to make Jinseok appear in the first place.
However, he's a vampire now, and while he doesn't really fully understand what that means he does know that his senses are better. He can see, hear and smell things he never could before, and it gives him a little comfort in thinking that when he goes back to his own world maybe he can use this to hunt Jinseok down there.
He'll find his hyung again.
In the meantime he doesn't really know how to get back, so when people invite him to come play with a dog there is no reason to not come play with a dog.
... Plus he just really wants to pet a dog. So when Sasha comes puffing into view she gets a small smile of acknowledgement as he walks over... before immediately dropping to his knees to start petting the dog.
There's actually a good ten seconds of petting before he seems to realize he hasn't said anything, and looks up at her looking slightly startled by his own lack of matters. ]
It's okay. I wasn't really waiting that long. I think?

Sam nuzzles Junseo back with his large wet snout, licking at his hands. ]
I am still sorry... there's no shade over here, huh? It's so hot out today...
[ She raises her hand to block the beam of the sun in her eyes, her other hand tugging at her crop top to get some air passing through. ]
no subject
Oddly enough...
Junseo nods a little absentmindedly at Sasha's question. He might not be damaged by sunlight thanks to a pretty generous new power gift he received from this world, but with heightened senses bright days like this can still be pretty painful. ]
Yeah, it's really bright too. But mostly it's okay, because I don't actually sweat anymore.
[ Speaking of odd. ]
no subject
Did you eat something very cold before? [ She leans closer, sniffing at him. ] You don't smell sweaty either...
no subject
Well, that and that he doesn't want to steal someone's dog. This dog is loved, and he would hate to break someone's heart by taking Sam away.
As for Sasha's question? He offers a casual shrug. ]
No, I don't eat cold things anymore.
[ Blood is pretty nasty when cold. ]
I just don't sweat at all.
no subject
The comment about sweating, however, is peculiar, so she reaches out to poke his forehead with her finger quickly. ]
How do you do that? I suppose you are used to this sort of humidity?
no subject
At least he's still flesh and blood... it's just that they blood is mostly borrowed from other people at this point.
He looks away from the dog he was pouring his attention onto, blinking rapidly a few times as he stares up at Sasha after the poke. ]
I guess? I mean, I used to sweat when it was super humid back home. I just stopped doing it recently.
no subject
[ It's also biologically impossible, isn't it? Everyone sweats to get rid the gross things inside their bodies, that's why doctors in the past have told her not to use antiperspirant and use regular deodorant instead. ]
Maybe you should see a doctor?
no subject
[ Looking back at the dog as he goes back to fluffing up all that fur. ]
It's probably just because I'm a vampire now.
[ Whoomp.
And he says it so casually too. ]
no subject
[ It goes right over her head. Junseo's demeanor and tone are too casual for her to grasp he's telling her the truth about himself. Instead, she takes it as some kind of self-deprecating jab at himself and laughs aloud rather than consider what he really means. ]
If you can make me one so I don't have to sweat so much anymore that would be good!
no subject
All he really remembers though is a small woman with an accent greeting him, telling him he was cute, and that she wanted to play with him. Then pain... then waking up with a horrible thirst. All of the technical details of the process are lost on him, even if Sasha had been serious with that request. ]
I don't actually know how to.
no subject
[ Still not processing... nope.
Sasha lifts her hands, bringing them close to her face and pointing her index fingers down near her mouth as make-shift fangs. ]
In the movies they always bite people's necks with pointy fangs and then when the person wakes up they're a vampire, too! Although I don't get how it works exactly.
no subject
I don't think it works that way though, because I bit hyung a lot before he left?
[ And he's pretty sure Jinseok didn't become a vampire. ]
no subject
O-oh... did you? Jinseok? [ Well, that's... is she supposed to know that? Then, without thinking twice about it: ] I guess a lot of people like that?
no subject
I don't think he really liked it? Only, he said I couldn't bite anyone else. And now he's gone, so...
[ Mostly he's been eating blood out of bags, and that's kind of sucked and tasted awful? ]
no subject
Well, uh, I do not think you're supposed to bite anyone other than your boyfriend or girlfriend...
[ Right? That's common sense as far as she knows, unless people are into really weird things here. At the thought her face grows hotter, but luckily Sam is here to help cool her off by licking her in the face. ]
Um, I am sorry he is gone now. Are you okay?
no subject
I'm not?
[ So only blood bags until Jinseok comes back? Because that seems like a raw deal.
He presses his face into Sam's fur, not really wanting to answer Sasha's question though. ]
I guess...
no subject
[ She should have expected that in all honesty. She wipes her face with her arm, then with her other hand reaches over to pat Junseo's shoulder comfortingly. ]
He might come back, yes? Then you— [ can bite him again... ] can be together again. The Porter is unpredictable like that.
no subject
I want him to come back instead of going home. I don't know where he is back home still.
[ Parts of that might have been hard to understand, what with it muffled by dog fur and all. [
no subject
Sasha's brows furrow at the thought of not knowing where your friends are back home, though she's wondered this about people like Ymir, hasn't she? Reiner and Bertholdt are right where the Survey Corps wants them, Annie's still locked up somewhere, but Ymir is...
She worries, but it's not the same as worrying about your boyfriend, she tells herself. ]
He is... sorry? [ She bends over slightly, hands on her knees. ] Do you not live together?
no subject
I had an apartment that hyung paid for, but I would stay at his a lot. ... Only he hasn't been there for a long time though.
[ He presses his lips together for a second before actually looking up at her. ]
I think... two and a half months? Maybe more...?
no subject
If you want you can sleep over at my and Laurie's apartment! We can build a blanket fort and everything!
no subject
I haven't built a blanket fort since I was seven.
[ THAT'S NOT HIM SAYING NO EITHER. He's also never had a sleep over. He used to have friends, but they never really crashed at each other's places except one time he fell asleep on a friend's couch and the guy left him there, because he didn't have the heart to wake Junseo up.
Junseo stays over a lot at Jinseok's apartment too, but sleep over doesn't seem the right term for that. ]
no subject
Laurie and I are pros. We'll help you learn again! And we can put on a movie and eat a whole bowl of popcorn and have pizza, too!
no subject
What kind of movie?
[ That, at least, he can still enjoy. ]
