[All Felix wants is a nice, quiet drink. But when does Felix ever get what he wants? When he walks into the bar in the middle of a brawl he nearly walks right back out again. Except there's a familiar voice in among all that yelling. A voice that nearly has him walking right back out again.

Of course it's Sarah ruining his plans of a nice night out, maybe finding a good looking boy to take home with him. Of course he finds himself pushing through the brawlers to find his sister instead of doing the smart thing and leaving.]

Oi. [He grabs her arm, but quickly finds himself letting go as some guy's fist connects with his cheek. Now that's infuriating. He'd looked amazing when he'd left his home. Now he's probably going to have a giant bruise marring his looks.] Oi!

[He doesn't make use of his powers often, but he does now. Trying to calm the crowd, or at least get them to drop the violence long enough for him to drag Sarah out.]

[ Sarah turns when she hears Felix's voice, her eyes (well, the one that isn't swelling shut, anyway) comically wide. ]

The hell are you doing here?

[ She kicks at the guy closest to her, but it's without any real force behind it. Felix's powers are doing their work, calming her down, and all she can do is stare at him like an idiot, wondering when he showed up. ]

[He frowns at her, grabbing her arm again and yanking it forcibly.]

Saving your sorry arse apparently. What the hell are you doing?

[ She allows herself to be yanked along beside him, stumbling a bit. ]

I was just having a drink.

[ Okay, multiple drinks. ]

Yes, and then I'm sure they all piled on you for no bloody reason.

Well, that's my business, isn't it.

[ She might be calmer now, but it doesn't stop her from sounding like a petulant little brat. ]

It's mine too when I've just been punched trying to help you.

[He continues to hold her arm. At least until they get out of the door. They can't stay here, but maybe they'll be lucky enough to find some other bar where Sarah hasn't managed to piss everyone off yet.]

I didn't ask for your help, Fee!

[ Sarah lets him hold onto her until they get outside, and then she wrenches her arm out of his grip. ]

[He draws his hand close to his chest, ignoring the sting of tears starting to threaten to fall. He's not going to let himself get upset over this. He's not.]

Fine. Next time I'll just grab myself a drink and relax while you're off being assaulted, shall I?

It didn't seem to bother you when I was getting that parasite taken out of my face, so why would you care now?

I wasn't even here when you were getting that thing out! You didn't even tell me. I had to find out from Alison, didn't I?

Besides. Cosima said you were all right.

[He did check with someone at least.]

I tried to tell you. I called you! You were gone, and when you came back you didn't even wanna speak to me.

[ Now they're both about to cry. This is great. ]

Yeah, and while I was back in good old Toronto not only did you expect me to deal with your shit, you were completely unsupportive of what I was going through.

Then what do I come back to? Message after message of people talking about you. Never mind that none of you have any idea where I am. You needed me for something and I wasn't answering my phone. Like you lot think that's the only reason I matter.

[He wipes a furious arm over his eyes, refusing to look at her. His eye shadow is ruined now, but at least it's delayed the fall of tears.]

It's always like this, and I'll tell you what, Sarah. I'm getting bloody sick of it.

You say that like I asked for any of this! I'd be just as happy if it all went away tomorrow!

[ She kicks at a small rock on the pavement, sending it bouncing into the street. ]

'Scuse me if I'm not supportive of your little identity crisis while your real family needs you.

[Oh, now that grabs his attention. His head jolts up abruptly as he fixes her with a sharp look.]

My sister is not an identity crisis. Why is it whenever when of yours shows up it's okay for you to immediately consider them family, but the moment I find one person, who is absolutely lovely I might add, you go and throw a fit over it.

[ The words "my sister" hit her like a slap to the face, and she can only stare at him for several seconds, stunned. ]

I'm your sister, Fee.

[ She's the one who carved their initials into a wooden bedframe. She's the one who protected him from bullies. She's the one whose daughter calls him "Uncle Felix." Not this other girl, whoever she is. ]

This is exactly what I'm talking about! [He is crying now. He can't help himself.]

Of course you're my sister. Of course you are. But so is she.

[Naturally Sarah can't just see it like that though.]

Or am I only allowed one sister? Is that how this works? Perhaps I should have got up in arms about Tony when he showed up. You can't possibly have another brother. Maybe I shouldn't have been accepting of your sisters either.

Tony isn't my brother like you're my brother. I haven't been ignoring your calls and saying I need space so I can spend time with Tony, have I? But that's what you're doing to me. This woman's not even here and you don't want anything to do with me, Felix.

[ She can't watch him cry like this, though. She averts her eyes. ]

I ignored your calls at home because I was scared you'd be upset. And oh look. I was right.

Which is why I've been avoiding you here. This was important to me, Sarah. I wanted this. I've always wanted to know where I came from. You know that. You just don't care. The way you've treated her, the way you've treated me... it hurts you can't be behind me for this. Just for this one thing.

I haven't treated you or her any way. You're blaming me for shite I haven't even lived through yet!

[ She turns away from him and shakes out her arms, like she's flicking something dirty off her jacket, then sticks both hands in her pockets. ]

You haven't?

[He'd suspected she had from how clingy she'd been when she'd come back. It throws him that she hasn't. After an uncertain pause he shrugs, moving past the revelation. Ultimately it doesn't change much.]

Doesn't matter. If you met her now I already know exactly what you'd say to her. You're still acting like I'm an awful person for wanting to take a little time to get to know her.

Y'know what, Fee? Fine. You can have all the time to yourself you want. Enjoy it.

[ Because Sarah Manning doesn't need a n y o n e. She fully turns her back on him and flips the hood of her jacket up, and—disappears. It's got to be a surprise for Felix, since (shocker) she also neglected to mention her new Invisibility Hoodie power. Either way, she's gone. ]

I never--

[But he doesn't get time to finish that sentence before his sister disappears completely. Which is extremely concerning for him. Once he gets over the shock he looks around wildly, as if expecting to see her again.]

Sarah?

[ When she hears the worry in his voice, Sarah is tempted to turn back, but in the end she's just too hurt and angry to face him again. She pauses, looking back at her brother for several seconds, but then turns and keeps walking. He'll just have to live with it. ]
