[ Gregor leisurely kisses his way across his cheek, along his jaw, down his neck, for the sheer pleasure of having Miles pliant and flushed underneath him, exactly where he wants him. ]

Is that how that works? Shall I swear to more rewards for acts of great heroism?

[ Very flushed, the alcohol helping in that regard. He's a rosy shade of red from his forehead down to his shoulders. Making a soft, encouraging noise, he leans up to nip at the underside of Gregor's jawline in turn. ]

Oh, yes. It's the best way to get more heroic deeds, after all.

[vorbarra]

[ Gregor makes a less-soft, rougher noise of encouragement in turn.

Slyly, ] How about every time you fold the laundry, I'll give you a foot rub?

[ Miles opens his mouth at that. And closes it again. Isn't that the chore he'd stalwartly refused to do as a child here? Not his favorite chore as an adult either. ]

It just doesn't seem terribly heroic.

Tasks of personal difficulty that benefit others? Absolutely.

[ Gregor is smooth in his response, and for good measure, he interrupts the conversation with another long, deeper kiss.

In a low tone, from inches away, ] Or you could give in to your mother's maternal fussing for once and then let me fuss over you later.

[ If Gregor is trying to bribe Miles here, it's certainly working. He's ready to agree to just about anything after that. Breathlessly: ]

Oh, all right. If only because I do like being fussed over.

[vorbarra]

[ You have to get Miles while he's having a moment of weakness. And Gregor is by far not too proud to take advantage of that. Bribing him is clearly working. ]

And how about every time you compliment Kitty, [ he murmurs, because he is absolutely thinking about his not-really-a-joke about her trying to get him acclimated to compliments and this is his revenge, ] I'll tell you how irresistible I find it when you blush for me like this. Or something else of that nature. [ Since just that would get repetitive. ]

[ He flushes deeper in response to the implied compliment. ]

As long as she likes it. I can do that too.

As long as she likes it, [ he agrees, but Gregor doesn't foresee that being a problem.

He really can't resist him blushing; this provokes another appreciative kiss, deep and exploratory, before he withdraws again.

He's now a little hoarse when he speaks. ] Laundry, indulging your mother, and complimenting Kitty. Do you accept your charge, Lord Vorthalia?

[ He could really keep doing this. A conversation punctuated by lavish kissing is exactly the sort of conversation he wants to be having, especially while drunk. He returns it gladly, if sloppily. ]
