WHO: Mikleo and your character!
WHERE: All around Heropa.
WHEN: 5/1-5/5
WHAT: There'll be various prompts here! This is an open mingle log for anyone who would like to interact with Mikleo.
WARNINGS: Please look at this post before replying! Even if your character can't see Mikleo, feel free to comment, and I'll tag you!
a) making my way downtown
[ Mikleo's decided to check out the local library for any hints or information he could find about this world, and how to possibly get home. He's picked out a rather large number of books. History books, biographies, non-fiction - anything he could find and carry for now. He doesn't seem to have too much of an issue carrying them - but, he's doing his best to keep an eye out for anyone else walking in front of him or towards him.
Your character will only see a rather large pile of books seemingly... floating....? if they can't see Mikleo, or they're free to see a rather petite looking young man carrying a rather large number of books. ]
b) practice makes perfect
[ If seeing the large number of books floating wasn't enough, Mikleo's settled outside one of the local bakeries. While seeing sweets in front of him shouldn't be a huge surprise - seeing some seemingly appear out of no where might be.
He's taking note of what new sweets he can try to prepare for Sorey while he's here, don't mind him. However, when it's done, he frowns, crossing his arms as he looks to the table with a small sigh. ]
Well, I suppose the next one will be better.
c) practice makes perfect pt 2
[ For those who CAN see Mikleo, they may see him looking to the bakery with a rather wary look on his face. Considering those most can't see or hear him - he sees no harm in saying: ]
From a distance, it doesn't look like they poured any love into their baking.
d) at the training center
[ Mikleo is practicing his water artes. He's separated from Sorey as of right now - putting more focus than ever in practicing what looks like "magic". He's targeting one of the nearby wall, making water, ice appear out of seemingly no where. ]
Twin flow!
[ Two streams of water appear from what looks to be his staff, that water disappearing just before it hits a wall. He pauses to catch his breath, the staff disappearing from his hands. ]
... Not yet. I can still do more than this.

Unless you're Jinseok yourself, in which case you're very shocked, and you've been following a pile of books for the past five minutes or so, trying to work out what the heck is going on?
A curious boy is another one of those things Jinseok has never been, but when confronted with a conundrum of floating books he does what any smart person would do... pokes the pile of books. Hard, in the side, a very obvious attempt to knock them all over, just to see what will happen. ]
no subject
... Really? Is that the normal reaction to have when you see-- seemingly no one carrying books like that?
Jinesok will see Mikleo sending him a rather dry look in response to what he'd just done. ]
Was that really necessary? [ He doesn't know if he'll see, or hear him - but he means the question all the same. ]
no subject
He doesn't offer to help, because he's never been that kind of boy, but he does stop walking at least, looking vaguely in the right place, but not quite hitting it. ]
Yahh, invisibility? That's the worst power there is.
no subject
I'm not invisible. It's not uncommon for humans to not be able to see me. However, it is rare that humans can hear me.
[ He sighs lightly. If he's going to stand and speak with him, perhaps he could help with carrying these books...? ]
no subject
Ah, so I am very special? Of course of course, someone like me would have a skill like this.
[ Preen. What a talented boy he is. ]
Then you are a ghost?
no subject
Not entirely too special. There's dozens of people here who can see me, along with hear me.
I'm a seraph.
no subject
[ He'll push the blame on someone else; it isn't a fault with him that he can't see. Something else is clearly wrong here. ]
Is a seraph what they call the considerate ugly people?
no subject
It's nothing like that!
[ Mikleo isn't one to normally get so emotional so quickly, but-- he's rather easily provoked like this... ]
d
He lobs an irregularly-shaped piece of ice about the size of a softball toward a particularly beaten-up dummy, and then straightens, having recognized a voice. He doesn't usually pay attention to the other imPorts training, unless he knows them -- it occurs to him that he was aware Mikleo was here, but not consciously so. It's only once he notices his voice that he realizes he'd recognized his scent awhile ago.
Riku brushes his hands together, then against his pantlegs, drying the bit of melted ice from them, before he approaches.]
You're working hard.
no subject
There's still a long ways for him to go before he's as strong as he wants to be - strong enough to protect Sorey, and everyone who's important to him. ]
It's good to see you again, Riku. It seems as though I'm not the only one working hard.
no subject
[His hands slide into the pockets of his sweatpants, for lack of a use for them. He always finds he's looking for something to do with them, in conversation.]
What are you doing?
no subject
[ He crosses his arms, shrugging his shoulders a little nonchalantly. ]
I was practicing my artes, but... that may not be a word that you've heard before, either.
no subject
No, but I can guess at the meaning. It's like magic?
no subject
[ His staff appears once more, Mikleo almost instantly thrusting it forward in order to make a ball of water appear. ]
I can control water.
no subject
[He reaches out, curious to see if he can touch it.]
Water's not something I can do. Ice, yes, but not water.
no subject
[ That's a bit confusing, but magic must work differently in other worlds... ]
Either way, that's impressive to even hear about.
no subject
[He holds one hand up to demonstrate, palm flat, and casts Blizzard. In his palm, there's a blue-white light, and as it wicks out it's replaced with an irregularly-shaped chunk of ice.]
I can't cast a water spell. Just ice.
no subject
At the same time-- ]
That's a rather impressive spell. To tell you the truth, this is the first time I've met someone else who can control ice or water.
no subject
[Because he's casting it all the time.]
no subject
[ A beat. His lips curved upwards into a more amused smile. ]
Let me guess. It's for healing?
no subject
No shit, right? All the spells are like that, though. The ice one is just called 'Blizzard'.
no subject
[ It's his turn to laugh, a quite chuckle escaping him. ]
no subject
[Just as an experiment.]
But your spells might be more versatile than mine. I wouldn't be surprised -- magic's not really my forte, honestly.
no subject
[ Makes a mental note that he may be a rather formidable sparing partner... ]
Are you more skilled with physical fighting?
no subject
[Riku has a hard time not doing something physical at least once a day.]
