The personality and the looks. It's no wonder he's jealous really.

[Something the vendor is angrily protesting he isn't, but Felix remains convinced is true. He picks up one of the voodoo dolls, holding it up pointedly.]

Really? Why else would you be so obsessed with someone you seem to hate?

Hey, people are buying them, aren't they?

That just means everyone's jealous!

[Which does not, in fact, feel great. It'd be nice if people were jealous of him for, say, something of his own merits instead of people just wanting to get in his girlfriend's pants. Poor Traci. She doesn't deserve this kind of fanbase.]

It goes with the magic theme!

[Jaime can't argue with that one. He turns to Felix, and says,] You know what? It's fine. I'll just get her to turn 'em into rocks later.

[He makes sure to say that loud enough so that it's heard nice and clear by Rockhead McGee over there. He won't actually ask, but... hey, might as well make them consider it.]

Can she do that?

[Felix, at least, looks impressed. Even if the fanboy behind the table is anything but.]

Uhhh, probably? I think she's more into animals, but there can't be that much of a difference between a cockroach and a rock.

[Jaime has literally no idea how magic works, except the fact that she has to make up cute rhymes every time she does it, which his hilarious and horrifying in equal measures. The last thing people generally want to hear before they get faced with a witch is an adorable rhyme, because it adds insult to injury, but hey, at least Jaime's never at the receiving end of one of those.

Now that the fanboy looks suitably frightened, Jaime veers them away a little bit from the stand, though he shoots the guy dirty looks every now and then.]

Thanks for sticking up for me, by the way. Can you believe that guy?

If anything you'd think a rock would be easier.

[Not that he knows anything about magic, but...

He looks back over at the table he's just been led away from, appraising the man behind the table carefully.]

Let's see... straight... average looking at best... and terrible at art. Yes. I can definitely believe that guy.

[He turns back to consider Jaime.]

You all right?

[Jaime lets out a snort of laughter at Felix's assessment, and not least of all because that could also apply to him. But then again, he uses his terrible art skills for good, like decorating his pseudo-kid brother's Christmas scrapbook, so he figures that much redeems him.]

Hey, takes more than that to get under my skin.

[Okay, no, Felix just saw him getting mad.]

...okay, he kind of got under my skin, but I'm okay! I'm the one she actually likes at the end of the day. I'm Jaime, by the way -- in case you didn't catch my name on the voodoo dolls.

[Felix starts to raise his eyebrows, but Jaime corrects himself before he has a chance to comment on it, so he lets it drop.]

Felix. Since I don't think I saw my name anywhere on that booth.

Nice to meet you, Felix. That mean that you haven't been around here long enough to get any merch made of you?

[He arches a brow, half a smile on his face.]

Which isn't a bad thing, trust me.

[Being mobbed by fans looks terrifying.]

Oh, no. I do. I just don't think I'm his type.

[Being the tag on foster brother isn't quite as interesting as being one of the clones quintuplets it turns out, but he thinks he might be thankful for that. And he's definitely seen a few things aimed at what's apparently his own fanbase.]

Okay, true. Not enough boobs going on.

[He'd say 'no offense', but he has a feeling Felix doesn't want boobs in the first place.]

So what kinds of things do they have of you, anyway? Less creepy, I hope?
