[ At least that's something she can help with. She glances over at Cordelia before holding out her hand, offering it to the other woman to take if she wants. ]

[ She takes it readily, lacing their fingers together almost immediately. ]

[ She's grateful for the ease in which Cordelia accepts her. It's a feeling she doesn't get often in her life and she's amazed she has it now. She gives Cordelia's hand a light squeeze and lets it hang between them. ]

You don't have to keep me company for the rest of my shift if you feel up to sleeping.

I rather thought it the opposite, that you'd be bothered by some worry-crazy mother who can't have the sense to fall asleep.

[ She brings Cordelia's hand closer to her. ] It's a good thing we already went shopping.

[ She smiles as she brings Cordelia's hand up to brush against her lips. ]

You wouldn't hear me complaining.

[ She chuckles lightly, enjoying that little affection. ]

Will you call me "milady" since you're an armswoman now?

[ She lets their hands fall back to hang in the space between them. ]

Only if you put in a formal request. I keep hearing how we armspeople have rights too.

Aral ran me through the list of pay and benefits after Miles signed me up. So far no one's bothered with the title crap and I wasn't planning on starting.
