Fun in the sun! Or not? (Closed)
WHO: Rose (
assassinate) and Alisha (
deeds)
WHERE: Mexico
WHEN: February 18
WHAT: Alisha and Rose discuss their situation! Also bickering. Probably.
WARNINGS: None!
[ rose is sitting on the edge of the bed in her new room, thinking about their position in the sudden russian takeover. when rose arrived here the thread of russian invaders seemed pretty far away and now here they were. in a foreign country away from the chaos, where it seemed as though the situation was a tad bit safer.
rose had taken alisha with her in an effort to protect her while being separated from both mikleo and sorey. their time together was short but she was certain that those two could handle themselves while they were separated. rose wasn't their mom-- or their caretaker-- but she had somehow gotten herself in a position where she had to take care of the princess alisha. alisha was an important political figure back home and if they ever found a way to return to their own time and place it would be best if alisha could return at all. the two of them hadn't gotten much of a chance to talk before this because both of them were busy with their own duties.
however now was different. they were meant to stay here, in mexico, as refugees until further notice. it had been a while since rose last checked on alisha in her room so she will do just that. leaving her own room and approaching the door to alisha's in their apartment.
knock, knock. ]
Hey, Alisha. It's me. You wanna open up? We should talk.

So, it doesn't take her long to come to meet her— but she wasn't in her room. Instead, Alisha slips out of the kitchen and makes her way to the door. Both hands laced in front of herself, she gives Rose a curious look. ]
What did you want to talk about? [ She glances back toward the kitchen, over her shoulder. There's a foul, vaguely-burnt smell spreading through the apartment. ] And do you suppose we could relocate to the kitchen while we speak? I was... occupied, when I heard you call for me.

What the hell are you doing in here? Don't tell me you were trying to cook something!
[ there were so many alternatives to this situation. they could buy fast food, rose could cook-- barely. anything... anything but this. ]

I was starting to get hungry, and I thought you might like a meal, too. [ Considering that they're in this together. Roaming around looking for food doesn't strike her as being wise in a situation like this, anyway. ] Was I mistaken? Or... did I make something you aren't fond of?
[ That is, the burnt stack of pancakes sitting on the counter. ]
