[Papyrus is, to be fair, not one HUNDO percent sure what's going on with the Russians (????) and America (???????) and all of that... stuff. But what he DOES know is that it was kind of concerning, probably, and that a bevy of soccer moms he's apparently enchanted with his can-do attitude in the local community have prioritized Getting Him the Heck Out of There.

Sans is still home, which is scary and weird. Papyrus would dearly like to fix that. But someone in this mess has got to stay positive and by GOLLY, Papyrus is giving it his best shot. He can be found, in shifts, cooking (yikes), microblogging his "vacation" (ultra yikes), cleaning (actually not terribly yikes), and making himself a nuisance to any and all neighbors.]

[ You better believe the superstar robot wanted to get out of dodge when things started looking too serious for his glorious presence to soothe over with needling gossip and dazzling smiles. Also, he wanted to stay with Alphys. That's the actual important part, though one would be hard-pressed to get him to admit it.

What his excuse was, according to him, when asked? To travel, sweetheart! He'd only JUST started a life on the surface, so why not see it all as much as he possibly can? Especially if there's any ideal spots for photoshoots or movie scenes... and, y'know, branding. All business, truly. ]
