The past few days since release have been stressful. Nightmares mostly, given Shad's history with circumstances almost exactly like the kidnapping event, he did not fair well in those conditions. All he could do was think back to the times he was trapped in an instance of his teleportation, or held in a well lit cell when he had miss behaved or refused an order (which was rare, but it happened on occasion.) All he could think about now was how much he wanted to return the favor to whomever was responsible in capturing them.
Currently, he was brooding on the floor of his room with Artemis laying on top of him, kneading his shoulders.

In the end she'd caught his network message before heading over and worried what he was planning on doing. She wouldn't deny that Shadow was strong, but he was also just one person and quick to anger. She didn't want him getting hurt or making rash decisions based on his fear and anger at being trapped.
It took her a few minutes to get to his apartment after she'd checked in on the puppies and she quietly knocked on the door.
