WHO: Hisoka and Ken
WHERE: Heropa
WHEN: 02/01
WHAT: Lunch and rehab duels?
WARNINGS: Sexual implications with minors, so... General Hisoka warning. He's hanging around with a kid and isn't subtle.
No, he's not subtle at all.
Infact, he spends a little while just watching the boy from afar. The sort of looks no one should really give someone that much younger than them, the sort of looks that gave reason for parents to teach their kids about strangers. Unfortunately though, Hisoka is supposed to meet Ken here, but he doesn't mind waiting a little bit longer to oogle. Which he does, unabashedly.
He'll stand not too far away, leaning up against a wall with his arms crossed, legs crossed at the ankles. Perhaps Ken will feel it though, eyes on him, drinking him in up and down till he feels his skin prickle and his heart race. Hisoka's aura is partially to blame for the eerie feeling Ken will get though, adding a slight chill to the air as he enjoys the way the boy moves and pulls at his joints. It's been so long since he's seen him in action, nnhh... already he can feel it. This desire for him, Ken was still so far from being as perfect as he could be, but watching him now had his skin tingling. His hands gripped a little tighter into his arms as he slid his gaze down...
Though it wasn't completely just staring for the enjoyment of it. Ken mentioned something about rehab for his body, so he will notice it. There's a strain to the boy's movements. One of his arms not acting as flexible as the other. His poor shoulder... it must have been quite the injury, Hisoka sure hopes it isn't permanent.

"You could've said if you were here," he protests, knowing that it's pointless. "Are you ready?"
no subject
"I haven't been here long." A smile, glancing to Ken's shoulder for a moment before he pushes up to stand.
"Yes. Shall we then? I'd like to eat quickly." So they can get to their fight... He's feeling quite excited for it already and when he pockets his hands, has to open and close them a few times before finally letting them dangle at his sides.
"How is your friend?"
no subject
"Do you mean Koromaru or Minato-san? They're both doing fine. You're actually concerned?"
no subject
"Will Koromaru ever not be okay? He's such a strong puppy." Chuckling, he glances down to him.
"Yes, Minato. He hasn't contacted me since, I was hoping he was okay, I'd be sad if I couldn't see him fight anymore."
no subject
Ken doesn't even blink as he looks up and answers. He's not relaxed, per se, but he's clearly not worked up, Evoker hooked to his side and hands in his pockets as he strolls alongside him.
"You're pretty bad."
no subject
"Am I? Even if he thought that though, he seems to polite to go without thanking me himself, don't you think?" A grin, glancing down again with a darker look on his face. Ken's doing pretty well to save face so far, but he doubts he will as easily when he says this next bit... Unless of course, Minato for some reason told him.
"He seemed perfectly fine to get naked in my tub with me too."
no subject
"I didn't need to know that."
no subject
"Sooorry~" Heeeeh... dropping his hand, he glances forward again, leading them to turn right. The place he has in mind isn't too far away, a small diner that serves breakfast all day but has a few lunch and dessert options as well.
"I'm happy he's okay though, that means I'll definitely be seeing him again."
no subject
Ken's disgruntled face turns annoyed at the idea. He wasn't happy how Minato's arrangement with Hisoka came about in the first place, and he's still not happy with it. He's not annoyed, but even then -- he sighs loudly, but continues to follow.
"It's not him you're walking with this time."

"You did, I'm happy for it. What a nice call to wake up to. I think it's time for us to make this a habit again, don't you agree?" Turning his head to him now, he'll offering a fond smile.
no subject
He decides not to argue the fact that it was Hisoka who turned him away first, huffing at the laughter he keeps getting from him and marching down the street, keeping his attention on the man next to him so he knows when to turn, when to cross the road.
"Do you know any healers that can grow back muscle?"
no subject
They'll get to a small dinner squishes between two larger more modern stores and he'll open the door and hold it open for him. The dinner is a little nicer than a greasy spoon but casual enough to wear jeans and a t-shirt in. It also seems to have a ridiculous playing card theme.
Well, that's why he wanted to go here.
The question gains a pause though and for a moment his expression seems to calm, maybe even get slightly serious. He did know someone... yes. But not anymore. There was someone else though. A glance down, brows up.
"I do." Though he wonders how Ken hasn't met him yet, Josuke and Ken would probably really get along actually.
no subject
"Do you think you could introduce me? I'll explain to them myself, but this isn't something my powers can fix."
Dia skills could stitch together what was still there and compensate for some lost tissue, but nothing something as large as this.

He moves towards a booth with the help of a server and she gets them waters and menus, but not without giving a slight glance at the two of them. Both because Hisoka is OBVIOUSLY an imPort, and also because it's a slightly odd and slightly unsettling pair. They sure didn't look related and wasn't that guy like... a bit old to be hanging out with a kid that age? All she'll get is a smile from Hisoka though, who watches her walk away before picking up his menu.
no subject
"I'd appreciate that. You can give them my name -- I don't mind. People know me anyway."
no subject
"Did you hurt yourself that badly? You really must be careful. Should anything happen to you, I might get really mad." A dark look over the top of his menu.
wanna skip over to fighting in a few tags?
And there, not visible from over the fabric but clearly able to be felt, is a dip of what can only be a part of his shoulder missing.
"There's nothing for you to be mad about, I promise. I just need to be able to deal with this now."
Sure
Hm... They should finish this meal quickly. But it was a little disappointing feeling that wound there. A small sigh leaves, his, furrowing hi brows.
"Buuu.. I hope you still put up enough of a fight with this..." Sad almost, and he moves his hand, sliding it to the side and swiping fingers against Ken's neck and up under his chin.
"I'll surely have a reason to be mad if one of my toys break."
no subject
But his face is still firm with determination and conviction as he responds, "Don't worry. I'm not going to break. That's why I need you to help me fight while I'm like this."
no subject
"You have no problem getting me to help with that." And then a more sly look. "I've already proven to be there for you already, haven't I? If you're ever struggling with anything else, be sure to let me knows~" Aaaanything at all. Fights, struggles, sports game, puberty...
no subject
Help from Hisoka is dangerous in many, many ways. He knows that. Now that he's gotten lectured by his parents once, he has to be more careful.
"But shut up. You also proved that you'll drop me like a rock if you find a shiny new toy, so don't talk yourself up."
no subject
"Ah-" A cock of his head, resting his cheek against a hand.
"But is that true? I never planned to get rid of you completely." Isn't that obvious, Ken? Come now, think about it. You were SO CUTE when you got upset, remember?
no subject
And he sighs and shakes his head as the server returns to take their orders, ignoring the protest. Sure, Hisoka didn't drop him completely this time, but that doesn't mean he won't. He's known that since the day they started this.
no subject
Not that he really cares, but putting up a little fight is fun. He won't have a lot of time to argue with him, even if playfully, before the server finally can't take it anymore and needs to interrupt them again for their meal. They're in for it too, she's going to be checking up on them a LOT throughout the entire meal and do her best to keep them there for a bit afterwards. Offering their specials, deserts, deals and so on. She's pretty worried about this boy...
Either way, not much conversation can be kept with constant interruptions and Hisoka got a pretty dark look here and there to her. He had a mind to really shut her up eventually but that'd do not good in such an open place. So when they finally leave, he lets out a sigh and pushes onward to find their 'arena' for the day. Nothing too spectacular, though Heropa can be difficult for their choices if they want a bit of privacy. Eventually though, they step out more to the outskirts. Possibly a bus ride away, and will find an expanse of a more natural landscape not too far from a residential area.
"Hmm..." Stretching his arms up.
"This will do?" Glancing back to the road not far off. "Though, we could do a little further..." A sly glance over to him. "You're not too full still, are you?"
no subject
The clearing they end up at isn't bad. It's open, unlike the building they were at last time, and it's different. He's fine with that, and he steps forward into it without hesitation. Other people are certainly more afraid for Ken than he is of Hisoka.
"I'm okay. But how much further?"
no subject
"Not much." Said as he keeps a casual walk.
"My my so impatient. If your shoulder bothering you that much?"
no subject
Ken continues to walk, but his head is turned away from Hisoka, gazing out at their surroundings. But that doesn't mean he's ignoring the man; with a low, even tone, he answers. Strangely, it's to Hisoka that he's the most honest about this sort of feeling.
"I can't fight as well as I usually could, and it's not an injury i can fix myself. Even if someone could fix it, I still need to find those people. If something happens now, I'm weaker. I can't fight as well.
"I'm... scared, Hisoka-san, of being weak. It's not the same as before. It's because I have things I want to protect. But I can't afford to be weak. If overcoming that means crushing the handicap by raising the level of my 'weakest,' then I'll do it."
no subject
Those final words and he can't help it. He stops and laughs under his breath. He keeps facing away from him as a hand moves up, Ken unable to see how for a moment Hisoka opens and closes his fingers, cracking them slightly infront of him. Another breath to calm himself and then he turns. It's slow, calm, turning to the boy and stepping closer, crouching down in front of him.
"Being scared is okay, everyone gets scared." He starts, his tone is calm and he has a low lidded look on his face, smiling as he raises his hands up to gently clasp onto Ken's upper arms. This boy... he continued to be such a treat, but it was so tempting to take a larger bite than he has already. It was better to let it linger though, even as he gripped onto him with a softer touch than he wanted, even as he looked up into those determined eyes. It was so... difficult. After this fight he may have to stay back a bit and just pull himself out of the frenzy he knows Ken will spark.
"Everything in your life will either test you or please you, and both will lead to the other eventually." Another smile, his eyes trace up and he moves to do the same with a hand, delicately sliding his fingers along neck, along jaw- before he steps to hold his head near the back by his hair line. It's then he'll stare up at his eyes again, long claw like fingers just barely threatening in the midst of the oddly touching moment. A moment that seems entirely constructive to a young boy's growing character and at the same time- is some how something else as well.
He can feel his heart beat, he's so aware of his breath... something deep and hungry stirs in him, wanting to see more of that fear. Wanting to see anger and sorrow, wanting to see the boy broken but broken by his own hands. It's there, wanting, needing it, but before that, he wants Ken to climb as high as he can, so he knows he has to stimulate it, even if it will come off as strange to the boy now.
"But despite your weaknesses, you are a very strong boy and have the potential to be great, especially if you continue to want to fight as you are, and for those friends you hold dear. So remember this feeling." The feeling of weakness. Remember hating it. Remember hating it so you can keep growing stronger, and so when you hit it again, when Hisoka can bring this weakness back to you on hs own terms, he can see how much you've always hated it then.

When they first met, Ken couldn't care less about that. Let him, he used to think. Let him fight as much as he wanted before he killed him. Maybe now that Ken actually cares, it's why he seems a bit more interested than before; like now, he was always strangely encouraging of Ken's desires to live and get stronger, no matter what the motive. As long as Ken kept climbing higher, that was all he cared about, wasn't it? Until he shredded him apart with his own hands, like the prick of the sharp nail on his neck reminded him.
Ken can't afford to die here, no matter what the cause. But he's not afraid of staying by this man no matter how much of a threat he was. He broke his promise with Minato and Jaime to come here, and he may pay for that, but Hisoka -- Hisoka was helpful in his quest to grow stronger. That was all he'd let him be. The glint in Ken's eyes grow brighter, his look harder and more cemented with determination than ever, as he tilts his head at the man (the thin muscles of his neck shift under the long fingers) and nods.
"'Turn your anger into strength.' Is that what you're saying?"
no subject
"Turn whatever you have into strength and never... nnh... never lose that look." Hands clenching tighter, possibly enough to be alarmed, perhaps even have Ken try to pull or fight back in some way before Hisoka very suddenly lets go.
no subject
But in the moment before Hisoka lets go Ken looks straight into his eyes -- not just meeting his gaze, but piercing into them with his own brown ones. There's no fear there. Ken still isn't afraid of death, even with his newfound attachment to life, and his eyes bore into Hisoka's challengingly, as if daring him to do it. Do it. Bring it on. Death can't scare him, not with the knowledge of what his Persona is.
Then the pressure is gone and the air that was momentarily cut off from his lungs surge into his chest and Ken releases the breath he was holding, quickly shifting his feet on the ground to stabilize his stance and waving his hand. Quicker than he had ever before the spear is in his hands and he's thrusting the blade forward, aiming at Hisoka's throat.
