Heropa, Coffee Shop; Locked to thelimitdoesnotexist (Human)

[As promised, Perry is waiting for Mewtwo at the coffee shop in a secluded corner, waiting. He's already bought himself a latte and is reading through his sign language book awhile copying some of the signs he's reading.

Of course he looks up every once in awhile to see if he's showing up soon, but he did arrive pretty early so he supposes it was his fault.]

A. Around all Cities and Heropa Gym (or anywhere else depending on preferences); Open (Platypus)
[To be quite honest, Perry missed fighting people for fun. So throughout the month the is going to post up messages around all the cities requesting for a fighting partner, which reads as follows:

Wanted: Fighting Partner. Preferred experience but super powers not required. Must be willing to fight me for the fun of it and not to win. Preferred meet up is at the Heropa Gym but flexible in location and meet up times.

Feel free to have your character actually contact Perry but the reason it's in the logs is so that we can just handwave it and get straight to the gym.]

B. De Chima, Animal Shelter; Open (Human)
[Maybe it's because Perry was feeling a bit lonely, or maybe it's because he couldn't help but feel a certain kinship to the animals in the shelter since he never knew his parents and started his life out in one too, but Perry decided that he was going to adopt a pet.

However, instead of deciding what animal Perry wants to adopt, it seems more like he's just, casually talking to the animals. Not that you could understand what he's saying unless you are also an animal, but by his demeanor alone it's obvious that he's not just playing with the cats in dogs here.

To him he was deciding which pet he would get along with the most, but to any volunteer and onlooker it might look a little weird just how casual he's being with these animals]

C. De Chima, Various Clothing Shops; Open (Human)
[While Perry was checking this town out, he came to the realization that he could probably use more interesting clothing as he saw all the clothing shops. Even though he had a secret shopper job, the most he'd buy from stores clothing-wise for himself were underwear and in one instance a sweater due to the time of year.

But as he looked inside he's also come to the realization that he is really not familiar with what clothes look good on him, especially with casual wear. As much as he hates doing this, he'll probably need to ask for help.

So don't be surprised if he approaches you with a questioning look, holding two different pieces of clothing and hoping that they get that he's wanting to know which one is better.

[Mewtwo came only with his human disguise and a usual hoodie plus jeans outfit. He didn't know what to expect. He never really studied with another person before. All his studying was done on his own. The fact he needed help studying was a bit of a sore point to his own confidence in his abilities.

But if it'll get him to communicate beyond text, he'll take it. He arrives quietly, taking a seat with just a nod towards Perry.

< Are you the platypus? >]

[Well luckily Perry is just in his normal teal suit with a sweater instead of a suit jacket on so it's not he's being super formal today either.

When Perry finally sees Mewtwo he smiles a tiny bit before signing him the answer.]

< Yes >

[A milestone for both of them in the fashion department. He signs back an awkward hello.

< I hope I'm not too late...but since I'm here, let's get started. >]

[Since he's not entirely sure if he can "speak" back to Mewtwo like this, he decides to just sign a response instead

< It's fine. You want a drink? >

[The clone experiment hesitates. Should he drink during a studying session? Was this an attempt by the platypus to fraternize with him?

< ...what kind of drink? >]

[Wow I guess Perry can never be nice.

Perry shrugs.]

< Coffee? Tea? Water? >

[Excuse him for being wary of social conventions.

< ...tea? >]

[Perry nods before getting up to ask for a cup of tea and returning a couple minutes later with it. He offers a smile to Mewtwo to show that it wasn't a big deal.]

[Mewtwo's face softens a bit, floating the tea over to his mouth (?) for a sip.

< This is good tea. >]

[Wow everything Mewtwo does is so mysterious.]

< Really? I had not had the tea here before. >

[Both are international men of mystery.

< Yes.

Wait, is this your first time here? >]

[Perry shakes his head.

< I just never had tea here >

[Oh.

< What do you drink normally? >]

[Perry eyeballs his latte before responding.]

< Coffee. >

[Mewtwo looks at the drink.

< It smells burnt. Do you wish to taste fire? >]

< It's an acquired taste.

It's nice once you get used to it. >

[< So you eat something to build a resistance to it? >]

< Sort of? I don't try to resist the caffeine in the coffee though. >

[< Whatever suits you. > He figures he should drop it.

< Should we get to the lesson now? >]

< Right. >

[Perry nods before beginning to sign instead:]

< How are you? >

[He hesitates before returning to sign.

< I'm alright. Tired. >
