WHAT: Karma caught up to him and he's stuck in Nonah 05 for a month. Waiting for your body to heal the rest of the way naturally SUCKS. Boredom, resentment and pain don't make a great combination, but he's down for the count.
WARNINGS: Tetsuo. Copious amounts of Tetsuo. Drugs, threats, all that fun stuff.

Sept 29-Oct 18
Largely stuck on his bed being a wet cat. At some point he'll start meandering out into the living room for TV if no one's out there, but he's not really going far or doing much. Expect a lot of network or texting abuse, possible threats of violence, and probably hurting himself in the attempt to follow up on said threats.

For the curious, he's got a broken collarbone/some ribs; nothing life-threatening but definitely extremely annoying, not to mention painful. While this may take longer normally to heal, he's had some healing done, so we can just assume it'll be pretty much good to go by the end of the month. He might be getting a limiter forced on him at some point during the month.

Oct 18-on

As he starts feeling better, his goal's to be out and around Nonah as much as he can manage (not that much, but you bet he can try). He's supposed to be on bedrest for the month? Well, that's not exactly what he intends to do - just try and make him.

That said, he's not going to be up to doing anything strenuous, which is good for all of us. If you can't find him in Nonah 05, he'll be in the arcade or nearby areas. What are good judgement calls?

Accuses me about telling some asshole about our past, then he tells shit about me to Hazel! I'm not the one who said anything!!

It's always different when it's him doing it, isn't it? Thinks he can do whatever he wants, but I can't. Thinks he can take my stuff. Thinks he gets to say whatever he wants about me to anyone I know... and the next time he does I'm throwing him off a fucking bridge!

[ So this is what's been happening. Tetsuo is feeling replaced. Even lesser than he was before. Inwardly Peter is just grinning. He hasn't had to do much to get this little parting of the ways now has he? He'll have to thank Kaneda later for making the job so easy when it's time.

Outwardly, there's just a tiny frown that plays on Peter's face. ]

He sounds like the possessive sort. I'm not surprised however. Of any of them, really.

It's obvious what they're trying to do.

He'd said that back when Kaneda first tried to take his bike away, and Kaneda still didn't seem to believe it. If anything, he's only tried harder to prove that he does.

Well, he doesn't. Tetsuo sure as hell doesn't want him around. Doesn't need him or his constant invasion of personal space. It was nice when Tetsuo didn't have to deal with him. Or this, any of this.]

They better enjoy trying while they can.

Best be careful, Tetsuo. They say they care but I think we both know what they really want.

[ He tilts his head a bit, smiling a small bit. ]

You do know what they want, yes?

[Yeah, he knows. There's no way that they could care - he didn't, so why should they? It doesn't add up beyond what Bull said - to get him off the streets.

To control him. Tetsuo doesn't answer exactly, but looks to the side, glaring at people not around.]

[ Well, Peter's gonna say it. Just to slip that inside Tetsuo's broken little mind. ]

That's good to hear. I mean, if it were me, I'd be absolutely livid to know I was just a pawn in their little game of house. Merely a weapon for their greedy desires.

You think I'm not?! Think I'm gonna keep going back to that farce after this? Play house... Watch movies... Pretend to forget what they did to me?!

And that's what I like about you, Tetsuo. You want to carve your own path, without the hinderances of THOSE people who kept you held captive and pretend like their your family.

But, we both know that's not how family works.

[Family. Tetsuo's head snaps back to Pan at the word.]

How it works?! It doesn't - that's how! All "families" just pretend anyway!

[ Time to sink his claws even deeper.]

Not the kind that we suffered through or what they put you through.

But, I think that gives us something special, Tetsuo. We can understand one another.

If I'm being honest, there is no one in this world that I trust more than you.

[Well. There's words he's never heard before. Usually more of the opposite... It's not an easy thing to hear. But, he's been nothing but honest with Pan, and Pan's not given him a reason to not trust him...]

Hmh. There's barely anything in this world to trust.

[Can't even trust if the damn world's real.]

I can only imagine how much you're not enjoying your stay here.

I'll won't be stuck there forever... When I get out, I'm not getting dragged back there again. I'll kill every last one of 'em if I have to.

[ Peter has to suppress his laugh. He can't have Tetsuo bringing this up to his housemates.

But, it offers an opening into something. ]

What if I told you I knew of a spell that could give you your happy ending so to speak?

Happy ending...?

[As much as he trusts Pan, there's some incredulity to his tone. Bikes are one thing. But happily ever after only exists in children's stories. Magic couldn't even fix his body all the way! What can it possibly do here?]

[ And he'll just slide on over to rest his hands on Tetsuo's shoulders and talk in his ear. Like the serpent that he is. ]

I can tell you have mixed feelings about this, but I want to assure you that I'm being honest. This spell is possibly the most powerful thing I know. I hadn't told you of it before because I wasn't sure I could cast it here-

[ Soon his smile bleeds into his voice: ] -but I believe I can.

I didn't want to get your hopes up BUt if you help me I can promise that it'll bring you everything you desire.

[But he's listening, eyes shifted to the side to try to keep Pan in his vision as much as possible. He can hear the smile to his voice. Pan... Of all those here, Pan's always said truth. He's always described the world as it is</>, not how people want it to be.

But why him? Why would Pan even try? Why any of this? He'd asked that before, several times and the answer is always the same. I want you to be happy.. Tetsuo doesn't ask that this time, he knows where that'll lead..]

You may not have magic of your own, but you know people I'm sure who have it. All I need is a sampling of it and I can use it.

Your bike wasn't made of magic, merely...obtained by it. But, something similar to that I suppose.

If it helps any I know of a place where there is an ingredient I need. You could get it for me.

[ And he adds simply, that poisoned grin spreading: ]

[ Peter slips his fingers from Tetsuo's shoulders and steps away to face away from the other. ]

I did a bit of research and it turns out a few months ago a certain, silly, little girl had a magical artifact stolen from her. It caused someone to raise the dead with it. However, these shambling corpses were defeated and burned, but as it turns out some their burnt remains were given to others.

What I need is the ashes from one of these formerly raised creatures. [ Then there's a click of his fingers as a map appears before Tetsuo. ]

You'll find one here, just take it and leave without too much commotion. Do that and you'll help greatly with this.

[Wait. No. Hazel said something about this once. Back when they first met. He got distracted going to look for proof of what she was talking about at the time. Rick also mentioned undead. So that was really all real??

Tetsuo reaches up to take hold of the map, because what else do you do when presented with something like this?]
