[ The Preamble ]

[Not that he wasn't busy last month, but he feels as though he has things to get back into after everything that happened. Things like- mindless sports, going to arcades, shopping. Things the undead or like undead just kind of get in the way of.]

[Yes, he certainly had fun, certainly kept active during the end of April. It would have been easy for many people to point Hisoka out in the chaos here and there, moving through those hoards or problematic citizens with ease. Often even attacking them back should they come after him, even killing some that really made a display. And the blood was- good.]

[Very good.]

[But killing zombies really isn't that fun when it comes down to it. Rather boring actually. So May's gonna be a nice month of finding that routine again! Well, whatever Hisoka calls a routine anyway.]

[ A ] - Heropa : StarCity Arcade

[Video games were never something Hisoka indulged in often, especially not back home. But they certainly had things he was interested in. Dating Sims for example, very fun, he's always enjoyed romance, and learning the tropes and memes that go along with it? Seeing all possible scenarios? Fun! Anything with puzzles and tactics tended to play into his interests as well which opened up a very wide range of games to be enjoyed. Of course, sitting down for long periods of time was something he wasn't very interested in, his attention span was quite limited if something wasn't really good. So Hisoka had a tendency, when he did play them at all, to constantly switch from one game to another.]

[So what better place for that than an arcade?]

[He's only here because he happened to walk past it and was intrigued by a rhythm game in the front of the store. Lights for one, like some kind of cat, caught his attention quickly and it wasn't long before he was getting quarters and infront of some fighting simulator. There IS a second side to it incase anyone's interested in playing along, and from the back, Hisoka's grey suit and white hair makes him look rather unassuming? That or maybe schooling him in a fighting game could be fun.]

[But he'll be around, he moves from game to game quickly. One could easily cross paths with him on a dancing simulator, or a side scrolling beat 'em up, to some racing game where the seat is almost just too small.]

[ B ] - Nonah : Twinkle Toes

[The large glass doors make it easy to both see all that this store holds (shoes, shoes, more shoes, maybe purses too), as well as then stacks of boxes towering nearby a brightly dressed man who is slightly distressing the store clerks. The women that work there have been trying their best to appease this person but ever since he made sure they knew he was shopping for himself they've had some- trouble. It's not that he's a man really, though a man in that sort of clothing is a bit strange, nice physique or not. It's that he's tried on over twenty things by now and doesn't seem any closer to buying anything.]

[Truth be told. He's just enjoying trying on shoes. But the amount of times he has to get them to go back and get him larger sizes is starting to wear on their nerves. Hisoka notices of course. He just doesn't care. He certainly plans to leave with something, somethings(?), but will see to finding exactly what, even if it means making this day a difficult one for those working here.]

[Maybe he just needs a good second opinion?]

[ C ] - Maurtia Falls : Passione Casino

[Perhaps at a dealer's table for Poker or a more novelty option- a dice game known as Cee-lo, Hisoka can be found. Hands always fast on the cards and always a bit of a spectacle with how he handles them, giving a sort of magician's flare to everything to put on more of a show. He gets players quickly and often do they stay for a while. It's mostly due to how he keeps the chatter high, enjoying various conversations he has and always managing to keep words going along with the cards and chips. Play a few rounds and you might notice your chips are gone before you know it! He does well to distract with a good topic or two, or some flirting. Either way, if you choose to let him deal a few rounds with you, enjoy the attention, he certainly does.]

A new round? Were you lingering close by in wait for it? I'm embarrassed, just for me~?

[That or maybe it's finally after hours and Hisoka's enjoying a drink at the bar. Something equally showing and sweet, possibly with fruit or possibly on fire. A bit hunched over the bar with his fingers sliding over the bottom of the glass. He has a rather dead look in his eyes, staring through the bottles behind the bar, past the tender when he passes by. An expression not really matching the light purple paisley suit he opted to wear for work today.]

[ D ] - Heropa : Some park. What do people even name parks.

[Man what a great day. What a great day for a walk, and this park? Gosh this park is so nice. So well maintained, zombie free after last's months crazy shenanigans. Everything is so nice and spring is really just great, huh? Green grass, blooming trees, people enjoying walks with their dogs, outings with their kids, frisbees coming right at your face fuck you need to duck or something if you can, it's going way faster than a normal frisbee.]

Did? Surely you plan to continue enjoying yourself, considering your current company and drink order. [A smirk, turning his head a little, swirling his glass.]

It may be after hours, but I could always play some more. I'm suddenly feeling a bit more stimulated.

[His first statement nets a little you caught me smile. Yes, the night is just beginning as far as she's concerned.]

That's good. I'm up for another round. [Rare that she isn't, really, when she has a body that meets her standards for such things. Her drink arrives and she sips from it, closing her eyes a moment. Having kept up a healthy buzz for hours already, there's no burn, just flavor to appreciate and roll around on her tongue—which she does before swallowing with a contented sigh and returning her gaze to Hisoka.]

[Nice. Good. He sure hopes he gets a part in that night, his own has only just begun as well. He's only lingering at work because this bar tender will treat him to some partixularily good mixed drinks.]

A round of? Games maybe? We could play by our own stakes. Though I set my standards quite high.

[A chuckle. Giving her a flirtatious look.]

Not that you aren't aware. I'm so difficult to satisfy.

[Games. Not exactly what she had in mind, but it could be fun as long as they play for something other than money. That's the implication, anyway, and it's one she likes.

She reacts to his look with a tip of her head and a knowing smile.]

I'm sure we can make it interesting.

For the right prize, I'm very competitive.

[Lately the stakes have been for favours. Maybe it was about time for him to owe the himself? Hisokas been good at winning and piling on favours owed to him.]

The right prize being-? Mmnn, I like competitive. It's makes it so much better. [Smiles, closing his eyes and sipping his drink.]

[There are a lot of things she's been willing to compete for in the past: information, a person, an Artifact, blood, time. Right now, a favour owed to her would likely amount to blood. Given or acquired, as long as she has it when she needs it. Not picky about the source.]

Let's play with a little mystery. Make it something to be named later.

[She drains half her glass, already signaling for another. By the time the bartender makes it back over, she'll be ready for it.]

Mmmn, a favour then. Es-Oh-Es call? Okay.

And the game? [Hisoka will opt for a virgin variant of a fruity blended drink this time. He doesn't need liquor to enjoy himself. And frankly, he's allowed himself to socially drink far too often since arriving here.]

[Now that requires a bit of thought. Though there is one option she wants off the table.]

Haha~ How do you feel about dice then? [He images the same, but he's poking fun now. But hey maybe she likes dice.]

[Dice are ok, actually. She takes a sip of her new drink.] Maybe. What games do you know?

Lately I've been taking interest in one in particular. Have you ever played Cee-lo? [Not that he doesn't know a few more, or isn't open to ideas. Though they'd have to play somewhere else probably. Some back alley, some other bar, maybe at someone's place, that way they could add to the stakes a little, favours and articles of clothing.]

I have! [It's been quite some time since she last played it, but she has an excellent memory so she won't need a refresher.]

[Surprise! Though pleasant of course. Cee-lo players seem few and far between. Or at least those that know it.]

Ooh, personal. That works for me. [Elsa, be less of a skeeze. She puts her drink to her mouth with one hand while fishing around in her pocket for cash with the other. Wow, paying for things with money is weird. After finding what she's looking for, she tosses an amount that will cover her drinks + a shitty tip on the bar.]

[A smirk, moving to stand up, he'll give her time to pay and with that will make sure he's clocked out and head with her to the entrance of the casino, just as they start shifting off the lights.]

Yours is more private, I think? [She has so many roommates. Granted, they usually pass like ships in the night, but it's still less than ideal.]

It is.

[Said with a smile and they're off. He doesn't conceal where he lives in anyway, he hardly spends that much time there as it is. So she'll quickly be aware that it's a close walk, Maurtia Falls still. Come to thin of it, has he had her here before? They're moments have been fleeting and almost rushed.]

[Ah, either way, they get there in record time, and while she's with him he opts to use the door instead of clinging his way up the wall and creeping into a usually open window. Both more fun and funnier to any onlookers!]

[A mess as always, though not dirty really. There's just a lot of clothing and shoes strewn about everywhere. Usually in piles and near a dresser or closet- but there's a severe lack of dressers to begin with. Hisoka's apartment is hardly furnished and it looks as though he's made barely an attempt to furnish it himself.]

[A lamp.]

[A couch.]

[A TV on the ground. He has a few game consoles next to it and some games here and there, but that's about it. The walls are all white and the light is scarce. His bedroom's no different but there's a lot more 'junk' in there. Including various small toys, magazines, and stuffed animals on his definitely unmade bed.]

Ah- [A sigh, stretching his arms up but making a point not to take anything off as he moves towards the back of the couch and leans back against it.]

The fridge is yours to use. [A gesture to the kitchen, assuming she wanted to make any stops anywhere to pick up anything. Like more liquor. Or that she wants something from it. As in, wants some kind of sweet or juice or soda, because that's all you get to chose from in his fridge.]

[Straight to the kitchen then. She didn't stop to buy anything on the way over. Her mistake, as it turns out, looking into his fridge. Well, it's not like she's sober at least. Things could always be worse. She stands there a long moment with the door open, staring at the contents, and finally chooses a can of soda.

Cracking it open on the way, she returns to the living area and takes a seat on the couch a little to the side of where he's leaning. Settles herself into the cushions like she owns the place and crosses one leg over the other with her ankle resting on her knee.]

I'm ready when you are. [Takes a sip of that soda and wrinkles her nose at how sweet it is.]

[He moves to take a seat with her but instead of on the couch he opts to sit on the ground, crossing his legs.]

[He puts his palms flat together before suddenly spreading them apart. Three dice appear there, stick to a sheet of bungee gum between his hands. But to her they just look to be floating there.]

So favours then? [A smile, chuckling a little.] And a bit of eye candy?

[So theatrical! She likes it, gets a kick out of his little displays.]

Loser of each round strips? Or were you thinking something different? [Man, she better be lucky if that's the case. He has a lot more layers to go through.]

[Always a magician, okay, always putting on a show, even if it's for an audience of one.]

I think I might come out on top, you have a lot less to bet with. [Yeah, he noticed the difference in articles of clothing. Not that he's complaining. Maybe she'll cheat? Not at all against that, he'd be interested in seeing it/catching it.]

[She just might have to! If shoes are considered a single item, she has like four things she can take off. Not even any jewelry.]

I can make it count.

[Already thinking just how to do that. She'll let a round go by before implementing anything, see how things go. But then... Hm. Shedding a bit of blood without being obvious isn't so hard. Getting the Words out could be trickier.]

[Sure, jewelry too if you had any, he doesn't mind. They'll be up all night, right?]

So let's start. [And he'll roll, the dice go clattering on the ground.]

Puuu- so close!

[Almost a 4-5-6, another roll and- 3-5-5. Not... terrible? But not good really either. He lifts his hand and the dice snap up into his palm before he offers them to her.]

You're the first person to know this game so far, aside from who taught me it.

[Good for her anyway since it's not an automatic win. She takes the dice with a smile, jiggles them in her hand a moment while she speaks.]

I've been around a while, I know a lot of games. Who taught you?

-Ah, I should have asked, are we playing pairs or singles? [Singles is traditional, but you never know! Plenty of people change up the rules.]
