[ The Preamble ]

[Not that he wasn't busy last month, but he feels as though he has things to get back into after everything that happened. Things like- mindless sports, going to arcades, shopping. Things the undead or like undead just kind of get in the way of.]

[Yes, he certainly had fun, certainly kept active during the end of April. It would have been easy for many people to point Hisoka out in the chaos here and there, moving through those hoards or problematic citizens with ease. Often even attacking them back should they come after him, even killing some that really made a display. And the blood was- good.]

[Very good.]

[But killing zombies really isn't that fun when it comes down to it. Rather boring actually. So May's gonna be a nice month of finding that routine again! Well, whatever Hisoka calls a routine anyway.]

[ A ] - Heropa : StarCity Arcade

[Video games were never something Hisoka indulged in often, especially not back home. But they certainly had things he was interested in. Dating Sims for example, very fun, he's always enjoyed romance, and learning the tropes and memes that go along with it? Seeing all possible scenarios? Fun! Anything with puzzles and tactics tended to play into his interests as well which opened up a very wide range of games to be enjoyed. Of course, sitting down for long periods of time was something he wasn't very interested in, his attention span was quite limited if something wasn't really good. So Hisoka had a tendency, when he did play them at all, to constantly switch from one game to another.]

[So what better place for that than an arcade?]

[He's only here because he happened to walk past it and was intrigued by a rhythm game in the front of the store. Lights for one, like some kind of cat, caught his attention quickly and it wasn't long before he was getting quarters and infront of some fighting simulator. There IS a second side to it incase anyone's interested in playing along, and from the back, Hisoka's grey suit and white hair makes him look rather unassuming? That or maybe schooling him in a fighting game could be fun.]

[But he'll be around, he moves from game to game quickly. One could easily cross paths with him on a dancing simulator, or a side scrolling beat 'em up, to some racing game where the seat is almost just too small.]

[ B ] - Nonah : Twinkle Toes

[The large glass doors make it easy to both see all that this store holds (shoes, shoes, more shoes, maybe purses too), as well as then stacks of boxes towering nearby a brightly dressed man who is slightly distressing the store clerks. The women that work there have been trying their best to appease this person but ever since he made sure they knew he was shopping for himself they've had some- trouble. It's not that he's a man really, though a man in that sort of clothing is a bit strange, nice physique or not. It's that he's tried on over twenty things by now and doesn't seem any closer to buying anything.]

[Truth be told. He's just enjoying trying on shoes. But the amount of times he has to get them to go back and get him larger sizes is starting to wear on their nerves. Hisoka notices of course. He just doesn't care. He certainly plans to leave with something, somethings(?), but will see to finding exactly what, even if it means making this day a difficult one for those working here.]

[Maybe he just needs a good second opinion?]

[ C ] - Maurtia Falls : Passione Casino

[Perhaps at a dealer's table for Poker or a more novelty option- a dice game known as Cee-lo, Hisoka can be found. Hands always fast on the cards and always a bit of a spectacle with how he handles them, giving a sort of magician's flare to everything to put on more of a show. He gets players quickly and often do they stay for a while. It's mostly due to how he keeps the chatter high, enjoying various conversations he has and always managing to keep words going along with the cards and chips. Play a few rounds and you might notice your chips are gone before you know it! He does well to distract with a good topic or two, or some flirting. Either way, if you choose to let him deal a few rounds with you, enjoy the attention, he certainly does.]

A new round? Were you lingering close by in wait for it? I'm embarrassed, just for me~?

[That or maybe it's finally after hours and Hisoka's enjoying a drink at the bar. Something equally showing and sweet, possibly with fruit or possibly on fire. A bit hunched over the bar with his fingers sliding over the bottom of the glass. He has a rather dead look in his eyes, staring through the bottles behind the bar, past the tender when he passes by. An expression not really matching the light purple paisley suit he opted to wear for work today.]

[ D ] - Heropa : Some park. What do people even name parks.

[Man what a great day. What a great day for a walk, and this park? Gosh this park is so nice. So well maintained, zombie free after last's months crazy shenanigans. Everything is so nice and spring is really just great, huh? Green grass, blooming trees, people enjoying walks with their dogs, outings with their kids, frisbees coming right at your face fuck you need to duck or something if you can, it's going way faster than a normal frisbee.]

[So he does. Despite it being silly and unnecessary. Whether it's because he wants to see Hisoka enjoy himself or because... well. He can. That's a more complicated answer, or rather the answer is both... among other things.

Because, yes, it is that he wants to spend time with him. And to make him smile.

And to make it 'real,' in a way. It isn't that he wants to change their relationship status on their metaphorical facebook page, it's just... if he's honest with himself, doesn't he think of Hisoka as his lover, despite his official involvement? It's an odd muddy situation, but... maybe he'd like it to be clearer, at least for a bit.

But, okay, the topic's moved on! That's... odd. He frowns a little, and tries not to be troubled by it.]

So I do. And thus the book.

[The book which he now allows to flip open, moving under its own power.]

Mnn, the book. [Said with such interest and thickness to his voice, his eyes immediately flicking over to stare at the tome in Chrollo's hands. Waiting, waiting while his heart picks up a little. Doesn't want to blink but considering Chrollo will turn into sand he probably should.]

[cephalothorax]

[the book disappears.

...and then the hand that held it kind of... blows away.]

[A hitch, his lips peeling open a little, watching intently.]

[Seeing Chrollo do more and more... ah, it never stops being exciting. He's capable of so much already, how many new powers was that now? Everything he could do, Hisoka's sure there's more than what he's seen as well, what he's gotten for him. And ah, the feeling of knowing he played a part in this growth...

He moves to slide a hand over his stomach, gripping into it a little.]

[Way too many new powers. Way too many. But that won't stop him from acquiring more of course. And as for this one... his body comes apart from the hand upward, traveling along his arm and shoulder, and...

in time, there's nothing left of him at all - just a swirl of sand that sweeps past Hisoka, and then...

reforms.

Behind him!]

[There's a gasp, his eyes roll back. Feeling a wave of air, of sand, of Chrollo come past him. His hair rushes, his body shivers, so enamored by it, but Chrollo having it now. That book, his power, it was such a wonder.]

[He feels him behind him soon after and his hands suddenly clench at his side, tight. Nearly piercing into his palms with his claws.]

And how it feels?

[Behind him as in... right behind him. He presses a kiss to the back of Hisoka's neck, and then steps back.]

It's an odd sensation to describe. Not unlike being in many places at once... though they're all the same place, or close enough.

Nh- [His eyes roll back a little, following that kiss with a hand and slides it up against the back of his own neck, feeling at the flesh there.]

A weakness and strength. I suppose it's quite like those spiders of yours in a way, can you see and feel through them? [A look down, and then over his shoulder to him, hand still clinging to his neck.]

I can, yes. It's a reasonable comparison, as well.

The shade spiders do spread rather farther, however. I haven't yet tested the limits of this particular ability when it comes to area.

[He looks up, watching the clouds, feeling the wind. It could scatter his body if he allowed it.]

Or did you mean now?

I didn't. But in general, yes. Why not find your limit? Wouldn't something like that be quite useful to you in this world?

[His eyes close, tilting his head up towards the sky as well.]

I miss it, seeing you are you were. You can be so...

Ah- Captivating then. When you're taking charge, in that role so suited to you.

[He looks down now, watching the grass sway around his feet, the sand between the blades.]

Then perhaps you shouldn't have left.

[At least he finally said it. Although he already knows why Hisoka left, of course.]

[Ah... hm. He'll turn, looking to him.]

[And he lifts his head as well, looking at Hisoka.]

I'm not sure how I feel about it, to be honest. However, in this particular case...

...that particular "facet" of me. That role. It is the face of the of the Spider's Head. If you no longer see it, it's because you're no longer a Spider.

And so you see me instead.

So be it then. I'll take what glimpses I get. Still seeing it will always happen, whether I'm a part of the the Spider anymore at all, it's still a part of you, and it's everything about you I want to see.

Mm. Yes, you do, but not in the same way. Youre suggesting I would assist them on your behalf. But what use are they to me. [A heavy, wide eyed glance. Honesty time, you like him honest right?]

I admit they're impressive, lovely at times even, but they're not what you are to me now...

[A look away, swallowing at those words from Chrollo. Though while hearing to makes his stomach turn, it still...manages to feel good. The man he loves...]

Hmm~ [A smirk, closing his eyes.]. If that's the case, you'll have a difficult time with them accepting me.

[Still, would he not save them if it meant fighting them in the future? Before he had no use for them if they couldn't lead to Chrollo, but now he had Chrollo, and he wasn't a spider so he could fight them unlike before. Hm. As long as he remained not a part of the spider, he could have his spars with its members and still get what he wants from Chrollo by being his lover...

Well except that fight. Whatever it was to him now...]

You don't need to argue it out with me. As I said... it's a thought I have occasionally.

In any case. I believe they're already aware of how I feel about you. Even if they tend not to admit it. So... knowing me as they do, I doubt they'd be surprised.
