Magician's Choice [OPEN]
WHO: Hisoka and EVERYONE, anyone.
WHERE: Various
WHEN: Throughout May
WHAT: Lots of stuff. A catch all and open prompts for those interested.
WARNINGS: General Hisoka warning. So, anything from tame sexual implications to violence and gore.
[ The Preamble ]
[Not that he wasn't busy last month, but he feels as though he has things to get back into after everything that happened. Things like- mindless sports, going to arcades, shopping. Things the undead or like undead just kind of get in the way of.]
[Yes, he certainly had fun, certainly kept active during the end of April. It would have been easy for many people to point Hisoka out in the chaos here and there, moving through those hoards or problematic citizens with ease. Often even attacking them back should they come after him, even killing some that really made a display. And the blood was- good.]
[Very good.]
[But killing zombies really isn't that fun when it comes down to it. Rather boring actually. So May's gonna be a nice month of finding that routine again! Well, whatever Hisoka calls a routine anyway.]
[ A ] - Heropa : StarCity Arcade
[Video games were never something Hisoka indulged in often, especially not back home. But they certainly had things he was interested in. Dating Sims for example, very fun, he's always enjoyed romance, and learning the tropes and memes that go along with it? Seeing all possible scenarios? Fun! Anything with puzzles and tactics tended to play into his interests as well which opened up a very wide range of games to be enjoyed. Of course, sitting down for long periods of time was something he wasn't very interested in, his attention span was quite limited if something wasn't really good. So Hisoka had a tendency, when he did play them at all, to constantly switch from one game to another.]
[So what better place for that than an arcade?]
[He's only here because he happened to walk past it and was intrigued by a rhythm game in the front of the store. Lights for one, like some kind of cat, caught his attention quickly and it wasn't long before he was getting quarters and infront of some fighting simulator. There IS a second side to it incase anyone's interested in playing along, and from the back, Hisoka's grey suit and white hair makes him look rather unassuming? That or maybe schooling him in a fighting game could be fun.]
[But he'll be around, he moves from game to game quickly. One could easily cross paths with him on a dancing simulator, or a side scrolling beat 'em up, to some racing game where the seat is almost just too small.]
[ B ] - Nonah : Twinkle Toes
[The large glass doors make it easy to both see all that this store holds (shoes, shoes, more shoes, maybe purses too), as well as then stacks of boxes towering nearby a brightly dressed man who is slightly distressing the store clerks. The women that work there have been trying their best to appease this person but ever since he made sure they knew he was shopping for himself they've had some- trouble. It's not that he's a man really, though a man in that sort of clothing is a bit strange, nice physique or not. It's that he's tried on over twenty things by now and doesn't seem any closer to buying anything.]
[Truth be told. He's just enjoying trying on shoes. But the amount of times he has to get them to go back and get him larger sizes is starting to wear on their nerves. Hisoka notices of course. He just doesn't care. He certainly plans to leave with something, somethings(?), but will see to finding exactly what, even if it means making this day a difficult one for those working here.]
[Maybe he just needs a good second opinion?]
[ C ] - Maurtia Falls : Passione Casino
[Perhaps at a dealer's table for Poker or a more novelty option- a dice game known as Cee-lo, Hisoka can be found. Hands always fast on the cards and always a bit of a spectacle with how he handles them, giving a sort of magician's flare to everything to put on more of a show. He gets players quickly and often do they stay for a while. It's mostly due to how he keeps the chatter high, enjoying various conversations he has and always managing to keep words going along with the cards and chips. Play a few rounds and you might notice your chips are gone before you know it! He does well to distract with a good topic or two, or some flirting. Either way, if you choose to let him deal a few rounds with you, enjoy the attention, he certainly does.]
A new round? Were you lingering close by in wait for it? I'm embarrassed, just for me~?
[That or maybe it's finally after hours and Hisoka's enjoying a drink at the bar. Something equally showing and sweet, possibly with fruit or possibly on fire. A bit hunched over the bar with his fingers sliding over the bottom of the glass. He has a rather dead look in his eyes, staring through the bottles behind the bar, past the tender when he passes by. An expression not really matching the light purple paisley suit he opted to wear for work today.]
[ D ] - Heropa : Some park. What do people even name parks.
[Man what a great day. What a great day for a walk, and this park? Gosh this park is so nice. So well maintained, zombie free after last's months crazy shenanigans. Everything is so nice and spring is really just great, huh? Green grass, blooming trees, people enjoying walks with their dogs, outings with their kids, frisbees coming right at your face fuck you need to duck or something if you can, it's going way faster than a normal frisbee.]
[ E ] - ANYWHERE : Make your own, he's pretty easy to happen upon in most places and situations, if you have an idea for a prompt here and you're unsure or wanna plan it out, let me know!

Oohh- you're adorable.
no subject
I'm sorry, did I agree to meet ya fer some target shootin' or fer accent critiquin', 'cause I'm sure it t'weren't the latter.
no subject
Hm~ Of course. Let's get to it then. [Gesturing a hand up, he'll be sure to follow.]
no subject
Reckon it's only fair to offer: [Look at that, Hisoka, your silent wish is already granted.] If'n you wanna set up what targets I'll be hittin', assumin' you have such an ability or inclination to do so, feel free to. Make it as challengin' as you please. Otherwise, we'll just use the regular targets.
[For all she knew he could have a power to make targets appear out of thin air. She's heard of dumber powers.]
no subject
[That accent IS quite endearing and he smiles as he listens and follows. Eventually when they slow down or stop, he'll reveal a deck of cards in his hand out of thin air, showing them to her for a moment.]
Will these do?
no subject
They'll do. [She's confident enough about shooting them she doesn't sound bothered or surprised by his choice. What's really on her mind is what she asks next:] You some sort'a magician or somethin'?
no subject
[A few seconds later she'll hear a rustle to her right.]
no subject
At he rustle she turns towards it, pistol at the ready, gaze steady and waiting for either a coming attack or a playing card. Either, way.]
Dun move like no magician I ever known. [She mutters.]
no subject
[He'll keep hidden now, unsure if she can sense his presence, but he won't rely on Zetsu to hide himself, instead using his own ability to stay quiet. Aside from the rustles anyway, those are on purpose. And suddenly there's something white shooting from a bush and darting up to the left. It's quickly following by two more of the small objects.]
no subject
no subject
[So the cards are quick, like a bird at full speed, but not more than just yet.]
[What he gets is a nice hit too! Her accuracy is definitely something to be proud of. That short sound of exclamation? Excitement? It was cute too, it was always more fun when both parties were into it.]
[One, two three, and she gets them all, again he moves but this time without the rustling. The cards suddenly dart out, one from her right to her lower left, and the second coming at her from a bush ahead!]
no subject
She isn't saying any exclamations anymore, taking this very seriously now, especially as they come faster and closer together--no time to boast--but it's clear she's enjoying the challenge by her lips quirking aside into a pleased half-smirk every time she sees a card disintegrate into nothing iin mid air with every laser blast.
Thankfully she has her porter given power of limitless ammo, or she'd have to stop and reload and risk missing a target. This way she can shoot until she gets tired, or the targets come too fast and furious and frustrates her into giving up.]
no subject
[That look on her face, serious even now with just some 'simple' target practice. It's quite a good look for her. He's aware he won't ever be interested enough to get her into a fight, but watching her and admiring is certainly be an option. And he has had to lower his standards a little since arriving here. Not everyone was going to be like Chrollo when it came to potential.]
[The cards keep coming. They close in on 40 soon, nearing the end of this deck! So he pushes it up a notch, really seeing how fast she can go. The speed of the targets quickly starts to go up. Three cards and they're all coming from different directions, nearly at the same time, and the third is impossible to see. Or at least seems to be.]
no subject
By that point it definitely started going far too fast, she shot one, then the second one, though not quite as dead center, and the third she didn't see, though she does seem to glance toward where it had been, squinting suspiciously, but no true recognition that a third target had passed by hit her.]
no subject
[Ah, now she's starting to miss.]
Something troubling you? Or are you losing your aim already?
[Words said from... somewhere? Along with a light chuckle. No new cards being thrown yet. Guess now's the time for a little talking.]
no subject
I didn't miss nothin'.
[She said with the confidence of a person that didn't see what she missed.]
no subject
All your life? Or most of it? [Hope you like more disembodied voice.]
no subject
Nearly all, reckon, if'n you count startin' out with bow an' arrow.
