[ The Preamble ]

[Not that he wasn't busy last month, but he feels as though he has things to get back into after everything that happened. Things like- mindless sports, going to arcades, shopping. Things the undead or like undead just kind of get in the way of.]

[Yes, he certainly had fun, certainly kept active during the end of April. It would have been easy for many people to point Hisoka out in the chaos here and there, moving through those hoards or problematic citizens with ease. Often even attacking them back should they come after him, even killing some that really made a display. And the blood was- good.]

[Very good.]

[But killing zombies really isn't that fun when it comes down to it. Rather boring actually. So May's gonna be a nice month of finding that routine again! Well, whatever Hisoka calls a routine anyway.]

[ A ] - Heropa : StarCity Arcade

[Video games were never something Hisoka indulged in often, especially not back home. But they certainly had things he was interested in. Dating Sims for example, very fun, he's always enjoyed romance, and learning the tropes and memes that go along with it? Seeing all possible scenarios? Fun! Anything with puzzles and tactics tended to play into his interests as well which opened up a very wide range of games to be enjoyed. Of course, sitting down for long periods of time was something he wasn't very interested in, his attention span was quite limited if something wasn't really good. So Hisoka had a tendency, when he did play them at all, to constantly switch from one game to another.]

[So what better place for that than an arcade?]

[He's only here because he happened to walk past it and was intrigued by a rhythm game in the front of the store. Lights for one, like some kind of cat, caught his attention quickly and it wasn't long before he was getting quarters and infront of some fighting simulator. There IS a second side to it incase anyone's interested in playing along, and from the back, Hisoka's grey suit and white hair makes him look rather unassuming? That or maybe schooling him in a fighting game could be fun.]

[But he'll be around, he moves from game to game quickly. One could easily cross paths with him on a dancing simulator, or a side scrolling beat 'em up, to some racing game where the seat is almost just too small.]

[ B ] - Nonah : Twinkle Toes

[The large glass doors make it easy to both see all that this store holds (shoes, shoes, more shoes, maybe purses too), as well as then stacks of boxes towering nearby a brightly dressed man who is slightly distressing the store clerks. The women that work there have been trying their best to appease this person but ever since he made sure they knew he was shopping for himself they've had some- trouble. It's not that he's a man really, though a man in that sort of clothing is a bit strange, nice physique or not. It's that he's tried on over twenty things by now and doesn't seem any closer to buying anything.]

[Truth be told. He's just enjoying trying on shoes. But the amount of times he has to get them to go back and get him larger sizes is starting to wear on their nerves. Hisoka notices of course. He just doesn't care. He certainly plans to leave with something, somethings(?), but will see to finding exactly what, even if it means making this day a difficult one for those working here.]

[Maybe he just needs a good second opinion?]

[ C ] - Maurtia Falls : Passione Casino

[Perhaps at a dealer's table for Poker or a more novelty option- a dice game known as Cee-lo, Hisoka can be found. Hands always fast on the cards and always a bit of a spectacle with how he handles them, giving a sort of magician's flare to everything to put on more of a show. He gets players quickly and often do they stay for a while. It's mostly due to how he keeps the chatter high, enjoying various conversations he has and always managing to keep words going along with the cards and chips. Play a few rounds and you might notice your chips are gone before you know it! He does well to distract with a good topic or two, or some flirting. Either way, if you choose to let him deal a few rounds with you, enjoy the attention, he certainly does.]

A new round? Were you lingering close by in wait for it? I'm embarrassed, just for me~?

[That or maybe it's finally after hours and Hisoka's enjoying a drink at the bar. Something equally showing and sweet, possibly with fruit or possibly on fire. A bit hunched over the bar with his fingers sliding over the bottom of the glass. He has a rather dead look in his eyes, staring through the bottles behind the bar, past the tender when he passes by. An expression not really matching the light purple paisley suit he opted to wear for work today.]

[ D ] - Heropa : Some park. What do people even name parks.

[Man what a great day. What a great day for a walk, and this park? Gosh this park is so nice. So well maintained, zombie free after last's months crazy shenanigans. Everything is so nice and spring is really just great, huh? Green grass, blooming trees, people enjoying walks with their dogs, outings with their kids, frisbees coming right at your face fuck you need to duck or something if you can, it's going way faster than a normal frisbee.]

[Good boy. He's happy to see it, let loose, play some frisbee, sheesh. It's just frisbee. You can read later.]

[The smile on Hisoka's face is actually quite happy to see him relent to the idea and he readies his stance. Super strength he said? Great. Awesome. Better than someone without it.]

[Still that control, he notices it. Super strength is great but good control of it is even more impressive. The frisbee darts back and he quickly flash steps to it, catching it without a hitch, a small jump up from the ground and a steady land.]

Ooh~ Not too bad, try again? [His smile widening, wiggling the frisbee a little.]

[enucleation]

[ Why not.

Kaneki steps away from the books so they won't be on the way, and nods at Hisoka ] Do your worse.

[ since he already made it clear he has super strength, no need to hold back, right? ] I'm ken Kaneki.

[debauchewy]

Mnn. [Ken Kaneki. He wonders if he'll care to remember that?]

[There's a chance. Will he be interesting enough to? Most imports deserve a solid chance which is why he tends to be a little more open to speaking to and pushing at them for more. Not that he's against small talk at all.]

[A step back and he whips his arm, thrusting the Frisbee up at a steep upward angle over Ken's head. It's very high, he'll really have to jump or run to meet it further back.]

[enucleation]

[ Kaneki would be glad to be forgotten actually. Searching for his name over the network would come up with pretty gross things. He doesn't hide them, but he'd rather if people didn't get all over them.

Watching the Frisbee, Kaneki decides to jump. He doesn't have just super strength, no. kaneki catches it midair and the moment his feet touch the ground, he throws it back at Hisoka.

So no saying his name, hm? Kaneki doesn't mind,. ]

[He's not the sort to introduce himself! Perhaps you'll find out through other people, which is what was normal for him back home. Or maybe you'll just ask him straight out, which is what people seem to favour here. Who knows.]

[The jumps makes him smile and Ken is swift to throw it back. Hisoka is the same, catching it and throwing it with a lot more strength now. It comes at Ken like lightning, barely visible in its speed.]

[Catch it. Catch it with ease~, ngh.]

[ Kaneki watches it, step out of the way so it won't aim at his face, but he still grabs the toy. He does grab it with ease, yeah. And Kaneki doesn't throw it yet, though, looking back at Hisoka ]

I thought it was just playing. [ and not something that would get serious. he does throw the disk back, but with the exact same strength as before ]

[Stepping out of the way is already a feat in itself. Catches it even. And Hisoka's happy he did, his heart skipping for a moment, bowing his head. Mm, definitely experienced with his super strength, good. While the Porter granted abilities could be droll, it was a lot better watching and getting anything from those who brought what they know with them.]

Aren't we?

[Smiles, and when the frisbee is thrown back, Hisoka doesn't move at all. Just stands, hands on his hips and watches as the Frisbee zips at him. Closer and closer and slowing- down? Before it gets to him? It's slowing in mid air before suddenly yanking back to Ken, heading straight back to him with the same and even a little added strength than the throw he just gave..]

[ it helps Kaneki already had it back in his world, yes.

The ghoul watches silently, tilting his head, almost curious. Aha. That's an interesting power, alright. He isn't sure how it works yet, but he will ask as soon as they are done showing off. Because Kaneki will show off as well.

As the disk aims back at him, this time Kaneki doesn't move to catch it or stop it. And it hits him right in the face, christ Hisoka look at what you've done. Except it didn't do anything. Kaneki's face is perfectly fine, no red skin from the impact and he doesn't even flinch, as if he didn't feel the toy hitting him at all.

After, he grabs it, and walks up to the other man ]

What power is that?

[Well he certainly wasn't aiming to lodge it into the boy's skull. After all, the power that went into it flying back was just the same Ken threw with, Hisoka didn't feel the need to add anything more to it. Still- a hit like that should've at least bruised him but the boy comes out looking pristine. So not just strength then? Interesting.]

[Though, when Ken tries to pull the frisbee away from his face, it- sticks there. He pulls it and it's very difficult to pull. Tug and it will just snap back against his face.]

Bungee Gum. [A smile.]

[ that's a silly name for a power.

Fine; if Hisoka wants to keep the firsbee against Kaneki's face, he isn't going to bother fighting it. To his knowledge, there is no need to bother ]

you can keep objects stuck to people's face.

Just people's face, yes.

[enucleation]

[ that's... yeah.

Kaneki shrugs softly ]

Interesting power.

[debauchewy]

[That sure is the extent of his ability and stuff. Definitely.]

[He gives a small smile, steepling his brows.]

How useless I know, but it has it's merits. Work with what what you're given, wouldn't you say? [A sigh, and the frisbee falls. His eyes follow it, but only to stop at Ken's stomach and start looking around from there.]

How well have you been working with what you have? Not that this place gave it to you.

It's hard to call a power "useless". There is always an use.

[ Kaneki's eyes follow the firsbee just for a second before they look back again at the man ]

I have been here for nearly a year. Who says I wasn't able to master my power during that time?

[Ah, that remark alone, he likes this boy. But some powers, while not being useless, are certainly a waste. Or rather, are a waste depending on who has them. Some people will always do better with certain abilities and others, it was a shame when something is given to someone that could never truly unlock it's potential.]

A year? [Sorry he'll give you a look, a brow slightly raised. He'll lift a hand, pointing to him.]

Your finesse doesn't suggest a year. Unless you're supposing you's a savant. to a degree. How you control your strength, your poise, it's mastered far more than a simple year could allow.

[Shrugs his hands up.] But perhaps the porter granted you full control of it as well, how lucky you would be.

[enucleation]

[ actually, it really only took him a little over half year to be able to do all of it. it helps when you are paranoid, single minded about getting strong and willing to go to insane extents for it. Most people don't do that.

But then again, Kaneki is insane, so who can blame him? ]

I will take it as a compliment. [ NO REALLY. HE JUST. did insane things to get there. ]

I already had it before, yes. But you could say it's a recent thing. [ this "power" was given to him last year, if the timeline in this world was to be ignored. ]

I'd like to see more of it sometime. [A chuckle, tilting his head.]

But ah, not just by throwing a frisbee I think.

[enucleation]

[ a small hum ] Training, then?

[debauchewy]

[Uuggh... 'training.' A weary smile, brows steepled up at the center.]

Is that what it's called?

[enucleation]

How would you want to call it, then?

[debauchewy]

I suppose I'd call it that, or perhaps more... a demonstration? Did you think I wanted to fight you?

[enucleation]

Wouldn't sparring be the best method for a demonstration? [ because that's how he does it really ]

Do you spar a lot then here? How aggressive! [He likes that.]

[enucleation]

I'm a practical person. It's the fastest way to get somewhere. [ more powerful. Eat or be eaten. ]

Hm.

[Such a thing to say, it says quite a bit about this person.]

Being aggressive? What a thing to say, I'm sure many here would have to disagree. [A grin though, on his part, and he feels something shudder up into his shoulders.]

I'd like to do it though, but- [Closes his eyes.]</small. Not now. Maybe we should get to know a little more about eachother first?
