[ Ted has recently mentioned to Peej he's been working out of a warehouse provided by Bruce Wayne ― of all people. She did lift a brow hearing that this Bruce, that they barely know, did something that generous for a man he also doesn't know... unless someone's slipped it to him what happens to Ted in their world and how Booster blamed Bruce for it.
But that's not something she wants to get into. Peej hasn't had the time to visit her old friend and having an unstable existence in this world means she should take advantage of whatever limited time they do have. She misses Ted back home a lot at times, harboring some guilt for how her last words to him had been dismissive. Maybe if she had taken his concerns seriously things would have been different. Maybe. Though she manages to push down these disconcerting thoughts and feelings, they're always stewing in the back of her mind somewhere when she's face-to-face with him.
And right now, she needs to focus on the present and what she's afforded in this world, and not the past. ]
