( it's interesting to imagine different beings, what makes them tick. he's met ogres and faeries and trolls and mermaids, and yet he still manages to find more unique beings he's never met before. it used to be fascinating, to compare and contrast all the worlds he'd been in.

it has been a long time since he really thought about it... but even with the discomfort and uncertainty of being in this new place, he's honest when he notes with a bit of wonder in his tone: ] Fascinating.

I take it you're taking that hero bit very strongly, aren't you? ( even at his best, Killian Jones is really not a hero. it just so happens he's made a place himself on the heroic side. nobody would call him one of them, though. )
