the spell you got on me, it's like magic
WHO: Residents of Nonah #005
WHERE: ... Nonah #005
WHEN: All month!
WHAT: General house shenanigans, getting to know each other, Charlie enchanting his living space as per the usual.
WARNINGS: The Iron Bull. Just. Just the Iron Bull.
[ There is a sign on the door to Nonah 005, written in Sharpie on whatever the hell piece of paper Charlie could find around the house. It reads: ]
Enchanting in progress.
Don't touch ANYTHING.
[ And true, that is what's happening. With all the chaos lately, Charlie hasn't had much to do at work, so he's taken a day off to finally lay some enchantments around the house. Anyone who walks inside will be treated to the sight of runic markings, glowing with ice blue light, floating around the house. They're scattered around the furniture, clustered around light switches, and outlining all of the windows and doors in the place. (Save the front door, he hit that one first, just in case anyone tried to walk in.)
Anyone who walks in will also be treated to Charlie's rather eclectic tastes in music (it comes from being around since the 1930s- his tastes span from the jazz-era to the modern day). He's got his iPhone plugged into the radio and his casting playlist blaring- currently it's settled on something somewhat appropriate. (Okay, if it's upbeat and has "Magic" in the title somewhere, it's on the playlist. Because Charlie is a giant dork like that.)
The wizard himself can be found in the kitchen, yellow legal pad in hand, ballpoint pen in his mouth, bobbing along to the music as he sketches out some spells around the dishwasher. He raises a hand, middle and index fingers extended, and blue light flows from his fingertips as he draws out another rune, consulting his notes briefly before completing the mark.
Good good. Things are coming along nicely. He's been wanting to do this for a while, but her wanted to make sure everyone in the house was okay with it first (the possibility of getting a new roommate with the newest batch of imPorts has not yet occurred to him), and with all the crazy stuff happening, it's been hard to find the time. ]
