Again I try to mix this potion clear

WHO: Revan and David
WHERE: Their Lovenest Workshop at Malachor Inc.
WHEN: 11/29
WHAT: After all their effort, the brainy duo have finally had a breakthrough.
WARNINGS: Who knows?

[It taken far longer than he had anticipated to reach this point. Revan's only comfort had been his companion in effort and invaluable assistant. Without his extensive knowledge of genetics the, what would appear to outsiders as astounding rate of weeks may have taken months, or even years, alone.

He spares a moment to look up from the magnified blue cells churning on his monitor to give David a quick look, and a slight smile.
]

Take a look at this.

[He gestures towards the monitor.]

[ david leans in to look at the monitor, pulling up the keyboard to tap in a couple of strings, reviewing the chemical sequences. he's mostly been working with something he's only heard about secondhand before, so being able to see it for himself is new.

he leans away, resting his hand on his chin.
]

That's it, isn't it? We actually have our own batch of bacta.

Yeah, I doubt we'll be ready for sale just yet. Though if we've synthesized this much, it's possible we'll be able to speed up the process by cultivating more.

[ "consumption" makes him think of something more along production lines, when they're actually thinking about marketing, submitting to fda, everything that involves. ]

How long until we'll have a test batch? We know we can create it to meet your criteria, but we still need to make sure it works.

Yeah, we'll probably need to get some kind of ad out, look into the legalities and put together a consent form. I can handle that part, I'm sure I'm more familiar with modern law than you are. [ or most people, for that matter. ]

They'll need to know going in that we'll be introducing an alien bacteria to their system, and we'll need to be ready to take countermeasures if something does go wrong. They'll need to work out a reasonable pay rate for them, too.

I imagine if we're trying to market this to the world at large, we will need to run tests with natives at some point, but it might be safest to start with imPorts. Maybe even imPorts who are sturdier. I'd almost recommend those who heal well on their own, just to reduce risk, but I'm sure that would skew the results.
