Stranger in a strange land
WHO: Ginko and Snow White
WHERE: Maurtia Falls, residence #3

WHAT: A first meeting.

It was still weird, having a place just... waiting for him, whenever he wanted to go there to sleep or think or just sit in his room. His room. A room that belonged to him. Ginko stared through the open doorway, at the bare, untouched mattress on the bed frame and the pile of blankets he'd finally decided were a better option than trying to sleep so high off the ground. He shook his head slowly--of all the things he had seen since coming here, this was still one of the hardest facts to swallow--and closed the weird, swinging door on the baffling concept of having a room, for now.
He supposedly had a roommate but between his tendency to stay outside all the time and probably whatever was keeping them busy, he really hadn't seen the person he was now living with. Still, that suited him for now; it was allowing him some space to get used to all the new things in his life, that had been pushed on him so suddenly.
Like this strange little upright box, for example. Ginko had never seen anything like it before, but experimental poking of the very obvious button make it come to life with a shriek of laughter that made him jump backward, honestly shocked. It only lasted a moment; he quickly realized the laughter was part of... whatever was going on in the box. Perplexed but keenly interested, Ginko stepped back until he could sink into a chair, wondering if he would ever figure out what the heck this thing even was--or how it was able to do that.
