Nom, Nom, Cookies!
WHO: Winry Rockbell (
hands4healing) and YOU!
WHERE: Resident #035
WHEN: Pre-dated for the weekend (4 October)!
WHAT: Winry wants to bake cookies. Comesample help bake!
WARNINGS: Overeating? Sugar shock?
Winry had been planning on having Kay over to bake cookies, but she mentioned it to Mabel, and to Henry, and the next thing she knew, she'd invited a lot of people over for baking and sampling cookies.
So, she wound up deciding Saturday was the day to bake, and brought home a lot of flour, eggs, vanilla, sugar (brown and white), and other ingredients, and a lot of baking sheets. When Zoey let her know someone was at the door, Winry ran to find out who it was.
"Hi! Come on in!"

[At least he doesn't so much need to worry about burning his hand if he grabs cookies with his auto-mail. It'd just be his tongue that burns if he snatches one too quickly. But he does seem more relaxed than he was with the crow business, smiling and seeming pleased at the prospect of sweets.]

That's right! Sounds like I should make them more often. [She crouches down to gaze into the oven. The cookies were looking good, but it wasn't time yet.]

[Just a shame Al can't share in it. But Ed tries to push that down and opt for enthusiasm and sweets instead. He peeks in to the oven too, watching them rise and breathing in the smell of the sugar and chocolate.]
Mm. Smells good! Even if I'm not sure they're quite ready yet.

[Even Kay is looking forward to tasting her creations.]

[There are so many things here Ed had no idea about back home that are just amazing and new to him given his time was 1915 or so in comparison. Certain things others take for granted. He waits, impatiently, though he does step aside to let Kay open the oven to bring the delicious treats out once the timer goes off.]

[A sheepish laugh.]
Boy, I learned my lesson.
