open | i'm with the party rock crew
WHO: You, Jesse Pinkman, and some party people.
WHERE: A conveniently located park in Heropa.
WHEN: Saturday.
WHAT: Jesse's birthday! Turning 12. Feel free to tag in wherever or make your own sections.
WARNINGS: God only knows.
NOTE!!! Anyone is welcome to come, whether they replied to Skye's post or not. Stumble into a party, assume they saw the invite, whatever!
[For a last minute thing thrown by a two people who don't have much experience with birthday parties, it's all come together pretty well. Nevermind that they actually didn't have a place to hold the party until not too long ago (minor detail), but hey, that's what public parks are for. Covered seating, a hearty amount of streamers and cheap, brightly colored table cloths, food scattered around the tables--this is probably what a birthday party for a younger kid would look like.
Whatever, it's charming.
There's a man made lake and a few fire pits for cooking nearby, though it looks like meat was probably forgotten in favor of baked goods, chips, dip, pizza, soda, and beer.
If one pays attention, they may catch sight of Ellie and Skye exchanging high fives throughout the party. Well done, ladies.]

[ he shrugs. ]
Social anxiety is a bitch. But you know, I've got you to hold my hand, right? So it's fine.

We can always leave once they do the cake thing.

[ he brightens up a lot at that. ]
But yeah, actually, my friend Scott, my best friend, as it happens, he wanted to watch a movie, and obviously I was like, I can't I'm going to this party, but we could head back after and you could watch it with us if you wanna see someone watch Star Wars for the first time. Or... not, whatever, your call.
[ wow sometimes stiles has a lot of words. ]

I've seen Star Wars. [ and she was the most sheltered child so she might be judging u scoot mccute. ] Is it even called Star Wars here or is it... Strategic Defense Initiative?
[ haahhahahaa thank you ronald reagan. ]
no subject
[ in an exaggerated tone of despair at scott's life choices. everyone has seen star wars! especially stiles, whose viewing number is in the triple digits by now. ]
I haven't actually sourced it here. So, you know, if I can't find it, I might just have to give up and reenact the whole thing.

[ you see, you can't just "get" stiles in a lightsaber fight. he is a master of the imaginary force. so he takes a step back and draws his own "lightsaber" with a mimed motion and a noise. ]
Yeah? Come on, bring it.
[ he also has zero shame for the fact that they're in a public place. ]

I could be a former Olympic fencing champion, you know.
[ said like "fair warning". should the girl that once gutted a boy in her living room really be even playing pretend with invisible stabby weapons? no. is she going to? yes. because she thinks she has control over her girly urges and then stiles does something adorable and it's gone. ]
no subject
[ funnily enough, he doesn't seem to believe her. ]
And I could be an actual Jedi master, I mean, we just don't know.

[ and with that she copies stiles' lightsaber motion. it's on. it's on like donkey kong. marissa would be so proud of her. marissa would also think this counts as flirting and abigail is 100% sure she's not even capable of that, so.
she'll take the silent win from her dead best friend. ]

[ idek how to rp a lightsaber battle. swoosh, swoosh. imaginary swordfight. much intense, very force. ]
no subject
Did you let me win? [ she doesn't seem to care one bit, looking up at him with a fond smile, turning a little shy as the laughter trails off. ]
no subject
[ he's grinning though, not at all a sore "loser", and happy to see her happy. people are probably staring at them, but for once he doesn't feel the excruciating anxiety of eyes on him — well, not more than one particular pair of eyes. ]
Wanna get some cake or whatever?

[ aaaand he's just gonna smoothly take her hand on the way to get cake. for reasons. ]
Gotta be careful not to turn it into bagels. I mean, I wouldn't mind so much, but whoever baked it might.

Okay, well. You just tell me if I'm making you nervous.
[ and then cake. something something party rp. ]

When is your birthday?
no subject
[ stiles is a little slower with the cake. and definitely messier. ]
When's yours?
