... no, Senketsu and Atlee are not exactly comparable. Not to mention she'll be supervising if anything does go awry.
She's got a bottle of red wine in her hand when she steps onto the porch, looking for the doorbell to press. It's nothing too fancy or expensive, since she's trying to budget herself for her eventual move.
She presses the bell and waits. ]

Good evening, Karen! It's been a while since we last saw each other in person. Make yourself at home.
[He stands aside for her to enter.]
We're having another guest tonight, by the way. Mister Sanageyama wanted to invite his girlfriend.

[ A brand new look for Senketsu, for sure. She didn't even know he could cook.
She offers a smile and steps inside once she's invited in. ]
Uzu did? [ Surprise overtakes her face for a moment. ] Satsuki...?
no subject
Senketsu barely holds out a laugh at Karen's guess, as if there's some sort of inside joke here.]
Pff, no. Satsuki is welcome to come and go as she pleases; she doesn't need an invitation.
Her name is, ah...Kay, if I remember correctly.

Still, she manages to bake a batch of her famous double chocolate chocolate chip cookies along as a gift and a token of appreciation, knowing that Uzu could cheer her up. Also, baking was one way she could take her mind off the folks who were gone. The courthouse and law and the truth just intensified her memories of them and the fact that they're gone, even though they were much safer at home.
She rings the bell with one hand. The other is holding a rectangular container with freshly baked cookies.
Again, no crows in sight.]

When he opens the door, it's immediately obvious she's not in her usual spirits; he did see her like this when they met on the beach a while ago, so fortunately it's not a completely unfamiliar state for her to be in to him.]
Hey, Kay. [He stands to the side to let her in.] How've you been holding up?
no subject
Hey. Well...a lot of people have gone home lately. [That's certainly a big clue.]

Look who I found outside!
[And he'll just dump Inumuta onto the floor.]
Good timing. You can join us all for dinner.

Weren't you in your bedroom just a few minutes ago, mister Inumuta?
[WHAT IS GOING ON]

I had to run out for a bit, but it seems Sanageyama is determined in having me here for this.
[That sure is some version of what happened.]

Sorry about Inumuta; he climbs out of the house through his window to run off sometimes.
[And he'd really rather the guy make an effort with Karen, since she's on her way to becoming a family friend at this rate.]

-or it could be that she's actually glowing faintly red-tinged.]
Is such behavior really necessary?

[She pauses to set her purse down before peeking into the living room.]
Have I missed anything?

You're fine. We haven't started eating yet...though I do think you're the last one to arrive.
[He turns away briefly, looking at everyone else mingling, then looks back to her.]
Did anyone tell you we're having guests?

Guests?

So this is her, passing a plate where she has placed some cookies over to Satsuki. And smiling. Satsuki's general demeanor makes her rein in the excitement, though.]
Hi. I'm Kay Faraday. I kinda...dropped in, so I thought it'd be polite to bring something along.
no subject
[When she initially got there, of course, and out of politeness, she takes a cookie, but doesn't bite yet. Instead she bows politely, her lips curving into a very faint smile-- she isn't entirely unaware of how imposing her stare can be without one, after all.]
Satsuki Kiryuin. It's nice to see Sanageyama is making friends, among other things, outside of our usual group.
