WHAT: Wandering in the area and checking out places to happen across this one.
WARNINGS: Uhh, nothing I can think of. Sometimes Tomura can be a little threaten-y if he gets going and introspect sometimes gets a little villan-y with him.
Having free time before his new job started wasn't exactly what he liked. At least having something to do in the other store left him less time to mull about how he had let this place change him. He could tell himself all he wanted that he was biding his time still and how he wasn't looking around for things that would benefit Toga while he sent her off to various places doing his dirty work of scouting, she couldn't be running around getting herself in trouble and jailed. Clothing might be handy and a schoolbag that looked inconspicuous. Becoming more familiar with the place he lived didn't hurt either, it meant that he could clear his head and focus on the bigger picture. Now that, hopefully, people were getting their powers back, he would be able to back to business. He had nanites to fuck over in the future and a few other things to stick his fingers in the pies of.
A bookstore? That wasn't one of them. But, he had gone out with the mind to explore his surroundings with less a mind on villainy. Then again if he had to make a run for it, or any of them did, he wanted to know what buildings they could go through. So, with careful precision he turned the door handle and stepped inside. He hadn't been in a bookstore in a long while and almost had a consideration that it might be a drug front. No one reads anymore. Not books at least. It was all digital as far as he bothered reading.
"Hello?" he asked while peeking down one of the aisles. Easiest way to spot a drug dealer is to locate them first. If it really was drugs, then maybe he had his first target for that itch he couldn't scratch.
