WHO: Kaneki & Bakugou
WHERE: De Chima, Kaneki's apartment
WHEN: Later in October
WHAT: They end up spending the night together

[Ever since he was finally no longer grounded, Katsuki finds himself visiting Ken more and more- and the same goes with his friend. It just feels natural after everything. They had been through too much, shared too much, for him to be okay with not seeing Ken often. It's not like Ken is Katsuki's first friend. He's close to several people. But most people don't give him butterflies when he thinks of him. Most people would piss him off if they held his hand, not make his chest oddly warm.

No point in thinking about it too deeply. He'll just drive himself crazy.

Katsuki stands in front of the door that has become familiar, notes in one hand and a drink tray with two coffees in the other. He doesn't even pause as he headbutts the door to announce his arrival.]

[ Kaneki opens his mouth and then closes]

That's very predictable. [ he is teasing Bakugou, of course]

HAH?! YOU GOT NO ROOM TO TALK!!!

[He yells at him, leaning in closer before pausing.]

[ oh! That's a good idea! Kaneki brightens up with a smile]

I could pull that off! [ he moves a little, to reach for Bakugou's head and comb his hair with his fingers]

You'd have to tidy up your hair, though!

[He scoffs softly, but ends up leaning into Kaneki's hand, that warm feeling returning.]

Good luck. Nothing keeps it in place.

A lot of wax and hairspray would do the trick. Maybe cement. [ Kaneki's fingers brush through Katsuki's hair for a bit longer, smiling softly as he leans into the touch.

As selfish as it sounds, Kaneki is glad Bakugou is this comfortable around him. He feels guilty in a way - what if he knew that Kaneki likes him? For sure he wouldn't allow this if he knew Ken's feelings - but he is so glad he can have this much.]

I will leave mine messy and walk like I have some back issue. [ that's how delinquents do it, right?] And fake piercings.

Maybe for a minute, but it'll explode right back. [Most friends don't brush his hair the way Kaneki does. Probably because they know they'd get bitten. But he likes it when it's Kaneki. Maybe because it's Kaneki.

Maybe he's sick, but is it possible to be sick for a couple of months?]

Your hair couldn't be messy if you tried.

[He moves to fan his fingers through Kaneki's hair, ruffling it.]

The posture's intimidating! It's makin' a point!

Yes it could. You have never seen my bed hair. [ it's a mess. Kaneki isn't exactly a morning person and his hair gets all over the place.

As Bakugou ruffles his hair, Ken laughs, shaking is head after.]

I can be really intimidating without walking like a hunchback.

Maybe I want to- see it, so I can see how stupid it is.

[Katsuki stumbles, managing to save himself at the last second.]

Okay, let's fucking see your best delinquent impression.

[ Kaneki stands up, both his hands messing up his black hair which does stand up. Not just that, but he takes off his jumper (which is too tidy to belong to a delinquent) and opens the first buttons of his shirt - and also untucks it.

And after he puts both his hands in his pant pockets and makes a pose with a grin]

"Ya better gimme yer lunch money, shorty". [ perfection]

... [Katsuki just stares at Kaneki in absolute silence.

Give him a moment-]

BAHAHAHAHA!!! WHAT WAS THAT?!

[He clutches his sides, tears streaming down his face as he accidentally rolls off the couch.]

[ Kaneki's face turns bright red, but he is still smiling, moving so he can playful push Katsuki away with his foot]

I told you not to laugh you know!

Besides, this is exactly how you sound, you delinquent!

Shut up-

[Katsuki hisses between snickers, reaching to grab Kaneki's leg and try and pull him down.]

I'm a lot more creative than that!

[ kaneki tries to keep balance, but eventually he falls down with a small gasp. His legs fights to free itself from bakugou's hold ]

Are you? "Lord Explosion Murder"? [ he laughs again ]

[Katsuki moves to try and bite Kaneki's leg- it won't hurt him.]

WHAT'S WRONG WITH MY HERO NAME?!

[ naturally, it won't. Ken is a ghoul after all. And instead, he just shakes his leg, a bit like you'd do when trying to shake off a tiny angry dog (though Bakugou isn't tiny is he?).

Kaneki snorts] shouldn't hero names be short and catchy?

[While he's not tiny nor a dog, he does end up growling and stubbornly biting down. But he does end up letting go to answer.]

IT'S THE CATCHIEST NAME OUT THERE!!!

[ biting like that, he sure is a dog ] It's hard to roll off the tongue. And very long too.

You should be called "Bomb boy".

[ kaneki chuckles, sitting down and pulling his leg away ] Say, how do you even choose hero names? It'd suck if two people were called the same, right? [ there is only so many to go around too ]

It ain't my problem you can't pronounce it-

[He stares, stupefied, sitting back up.] You just lost your naming privileges. And that ain't a problem. They could just fight it to the death.

....... Yeah, I think I'm going to call you "bomb boy" from now on.

It's much easier to say. [ he's going to tease him now]
