September catch-all
WHO: The Untamed / MDZS cast and friends (enemies, etc)
WHERE: Anywhere, everywhere, September will be a thing
WHEN: September
WHAT: Catch-all because neither the emotions nor the shenanigans ever end.
WARNINGS: The Untamed / Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation / Mo Dao Zu Shi spoilers; canon-typical violence; event-typical violence. Will add more if it becomes necessary.
ooc: Go ahead and make top levels, etc. as need arises. If someone wants to seek out somebody from the cast/s, this is also a place they are welcome to do so. The house they have is in Jeopardy, there are still bunnies. And other small animals. And probably Fairy.

OTA - Book store owner
It's like back home. Rise at 5 am to greet the sun as it peaks with its light to start the day.
He sets up a schedule to teach cultivation lessons to the juniors. He made it clear that lessons will begin right before or after breakfast starting at 7am or 8am, depending on who is willing. That was quite generous and hopefully, he set a reasonable routine for everyone. He modified the lessons, to keep it brief and short. He can be found sitting at the table, pouring tea for everyone who attends. He keep the morale of the household up as he builds it around everyone's personal work schedule.
Around 9am, he would leave the house. At 9:30am, he arrives at his assigned workplace, a bookstore that he now inherited with the title as the manager and owner.
II. Bookstore owner
9:30am to 6:00pm, that's his schedule. When he found the store, it was dusty and abandoned. The books were never sold for a long time. He cleaned it up, tidied up the place, change the lights, and clean the books to put back in their rightful place.
It was a quiet job and his books hardly sell, sometimes even for days. The books usually cover subjects on fortune-telling, horoscopes, stones, crystals, which Lan Wangji is familiar and learns it is a modern style of divination. It's when he changes stock with different materials and expand with new items on stock to sell, that's when he starts seeing a change in sales and begin to sell some, though slowly like a trickle, like watching paint dry.
Otherwise, he can be found behind the front desk, helping a single customer or two, or around the store, categorizing the books away by title and genre during business hours, manning the small store on his own.
III. Wildcard

OTA
Wei Wuxian stares up at the house in Jeopardy. He has been asked to move in and it has taken him several weeks to feel like it might be okay for him to do so. It just felt a little strange to move into a place that apparently he had once occupied but couldn't remember. As if he was actually invading another person's place.
But as more of them seemed to be showing up and with his sister's approaching wedding..it was time. And Wei Wuxian was ready. It's not like he had much stuff. He didn't buy anything besides food and alcohol and so there was nothing to pack or bring with him. Just himself and Chenqing and some extra clothing that was more suited for this world. Even though today he wore his typical robes.
"I guess it is time.." He's never been one to hesitate before. No reason to do so now.
no subject
"Wei Ying?" The door opens wider since he has been expecting him. "Come in. Just remove your shoes and leave them by the rack."
no subject
no subject
"Welcome. Let me show you to your room so you can unpack and rest, it's upstairs. Then I'll show you around the house."
He leads him inside, and he could see the living room, and doorways leading to other places in the house. Showing him the stairs, going up to the second floor. "This way, Wei Ying."
no subject
"No need to go to unnecessary trouble."
no subject
The room is empty. The bed is furbished with clean linens and there's a closet to store his belongings and a window with the view of the city.
no subject
"Sounds like everyone has already gone out for the day." Or at work. He knows a couple of their jobs already. His schedule is significantly different from everyone else since his job is at night.
no subject
"My bedroom will be in the attic. I have to clean out and fix everything to make room."
no subject
He turns to the other with a quirked eyebrow, "Why the attic?"
no subject
"Your room is a guest room. When I heard you coming, I have to move to the attic. It's the only place where I have room to myself, so I'm in the middle of cleaning it out and make changes like painting the walls and move my furniture and belongings."
no subject
He reaches out and picks up the bag again. He certainly isn't going to stay if the house is more crowded then necessary.
no subject
He can't make him stay since the choice is his. "I don't mind. I already clean most of the stuff out. You know, it wasn't so bad once I paint the walls over. When I open the window, I can see the stars out. It's a good view. Do you want to come up and see?"
no subject
"Do you need me to help you with it?"
no subject
Lan Wangji doesn't seem to mind and he leads him to the back of the house, and there's a stairway leading up to what looks like a square opening to the attic. Only one person can go up at the time.
Once the reached the attic, it's very spacious and well... the attic is a mess with tools and paints cans being laid around and it doesn't resemble anything that Lan Wangji imagined. While it seems he tried to paint himself, he isn't quite happy with it and it's very drafty due to poor insulation.
"You could. I'm trying to fix it and make repairs myself. But maybe I need to hire people for the floor and walls." Since he doesn't know anything about room renovation.
"Watch your step." Still, he promises Wei Ying a view, so he opens the window. Not a skyscraper view, but the city is in view.
no subject
"You can't stay up here, Lan Zhan..not until you get some people to fix it. Pretty sure you don't know anything about construction." The people of Lan sect can do a lot of things but getting their hands dirty with building a house is probably not high on their top cultivators list of abilities.
"It's fine..I can sleep downstairs on the couch until things get fixed up and you can keep your room."
no subject
It's frustrating that Wei Wuxian is ready to move in, but the house isn't ready to accommodate one more. He's pretty sure Jin Ling is moving to live close to the mother and once married, the husband as well, and he wanted desperately to see the family together.
"Wei Ying, no. You can keep your room. I can share a room with my brother and we'll talk. He won't be happy if you sleep on the couch. Come down, the air isn't good in here."
He climbs back downstairs.
no subject
He follows him back down the stairs, "It isn't really my room, Lan Zhan. I haven't even been in it for five minutes. It's fine. I don't want anyone to be put out because of me."
no subject
"I don't feel put-out. I would like you here." He stops himself as he's bordering near confessing, which he isn't ready for. But the truth is, his house isn't ready. There's only room for five. If he could expand at least one or two, it should be enough.
"If I have a room ready, will Wei Ying consider and come back...?"
no subject
But Lan Wangji also said he would like him to be here, and he did want to be here..but not with how it complicated things. "Like I said Lan Zhan. I can sleep anywhere. I was the one who pushed the number past the available bed rooms, so let me figure out where I need to lay my head. It doesn't really matter...I work at night anyway. I won't be using a bed much."
no subject
"What about the apartment you're staying at? When I last visit you? You do have a bed there...?"
no subject
And it is possible his night time job could disrupt things. He doesn't really want to disturb anyone when he returns late. He could try to find a different job but this one seems to suit him so well and it's not like he knows much about getting work in this place.
no subject
At this point, there isn't anything he could until the house expands and it's ready. Although there are other empty rooms, those belong to Sizhui at one time, and another belongs to a disciple.
"At least stay for a while for some snacks and tea. You came all this way. Also, Shijie is going to cook some dinner, so have some before you go to work."
no subject
"I don't have any plans, Lan Zhan. I don't mind staying for awhile."
He leaves his bag behind for now, figuring he can gather it later if he needs to and goes to head back downstairs.
/handwaves a few blunders
"Wei Ying, my brother informed me there's a spare room. Apparently, I haven't known...it's one of the spare rooms." Since the room they inspected was Wangji's room.
"Do you want to take a look?"
no subject
He smiles as he heads out of the kitchen.
no subject
"I think it's this one. It has a bathroom and shower, so it shall be yours." Nevermind that it's used to Jiang Cheng from before. He'll leave it to Yanli to tell him the story. For now, he wants Wei Wuxian to stay and be happy and comfortable, and he hoped the room it's to his liking.
no subject
no subject
"Mn. I think I could. As long you're comfortable. I think the room is bare, but as long you're fine with it."
He sees the shower room empty. "There's nothing in there. Let me get you soap at least, so you could shower."
no subject
"Don't go to any trouble, Lan Zhan. My bag of stuff is around here somewhere. I'm sure I have something in there I could use."
no subject
Only to return back with a fold-up extra thin blanket in case he gets too cold, a clean white fold up the towel, and a brand new bar of soap still inside the cardboard box.
"For you." He said as he laid them gingerly on the bed.
no subject
"I probably should take a nap so that I can be awake enough for work tonight."
no subject
"Mn. Rest well Wei Ying. If you need anything, let anyone of us know."
At that, he steps back, allowing Wei Ying to have his nap, and goes to his room to meditate and study.
