Hello? Jaime?
[she already knows he's here -- she had opted to texting Khaji Da prior to making the venture out to the auto shop -- but it's polite to not completely startle the man on his lunch break! or worse, were he to be skipping a meal and still under a vehicle, he could hurt himself!
she lingers outside the garage doors with a large box in her arms, peeking around.]
It's Lucina. Are you around?

It's Lucina. Are you around?

[ Jaime comes from round the corner to see her. Or... no. He wheels from round the corner to see her, still perched on a dolly he was working on, his water bottle and a bagged sandwich on the empty space beside him. ]
I sure am. How're you doing? Got any vehicular troubles?

hefting the box a bit:] I have something for you! For your wedding.
[without further ado, she releases the box, letting it drop unceremoniously at her feet. it thumps rather lightly, its contents hardly heavy at all, but the drop does make the flaps pop open and expose its contents:
so many fucking ties and bowties.]

[ Oh... she really shouldn't have. He gawps at the box, reaching in to produce one that -- are those stripes? Are those polka dots? Oh, no. ]
Wow! [ Wow. ] How did you even get your hands on all of these?

When I mentioned your upcoming nuptials in passing, apparently the word got spread...and, well, they asked if they could send samples! Turns out there's quite a number of different tailors out there who would be tickled to have their work modeled by the famous Blue Beetle at his big day.
[she can't blame them! this kind of royal treatment doesn't strike her as odd at all, because...well.
royalty.]

[ Oh, man. He's not choosing any of these, but he's too polite to say so. This looks like something somebody's gringo Dad would wear to a bowling afterparty.
Did they really think this is what he'd wear for a wedding...? ]
I hope they know on the big day, I'm gonna be more Jaime than Beetle.

The ones you dismiss are ones I can return myself, and I don't mind footing the bill for the winning piece! It'll save you some time, after all.
[TIME SPENT TRYING ON HIDEOUS TIES.]

[ He hasn't had a secret identity for so long now, it seems, but it still feels strange. He digs through the box, past the paisley (yikes) and the polka dots (oh no) and the novelty prints (did they really send this for his wedding?) and thumbs one of them. ]
You won't think I'm boring if I go for something that's just one colour, will you?

Just...one color? But--won't the suit already be one color? According to conventions I've seen here, anyway...
Patterns are...are fine for a wedding, aren't they?
