What's a little breaking and entering between friends?
WHO: Tim Drake, Bart Allen, Conner Kent
WHERE: Bart and Kon's place
WHEN: April 6
WHAT: Tim hasn't visited Bart and Conner's place yet. Time to remedy the situation.
WARNINGS: Probably none
Tim hadn't been to visit Bart a (and Conner, who he only really knows in passing) yet at their place in Heropa, and maybe most people wouldn't enter through a window, but as far as Tim is concerned, Bart knows him pretty well by now. If he didn't want him to come in through the window, it would be trapped. It's not trapped, so he lets himself in.
They have a pretty cool game setup, which he definitely wants to check out, but--even better--a snack fridge.
Awesome.

Awesome.

But then he heard someone moving in the game room, and he paused, checking from the door. When he saw who it was, he couldn't help laughing.
"You know, normal people would knock."

"Butterscotch means there's always pudding, even after the chocolate is gone. I don't mind it, and most people think it's only a step up from tapioca as far as old man pudding goes." The strategy mostly worked. It meant he usually still had a cup or three of pudding, even if it wasn't his favorite. "But I'm guessing you didn't come here to judge me on my snack selection."
He wasn't certain if Kon has heard the intruder yet, but it wasn't really a big deal. A Bat broke into their house. Hardly unexpected, and Tim wasn't unwelcome.

"I don't like to limit myself. I can judge your snack selection and check out your security--not bad, by the way--and your video games at the same time. I'm a multitasker."

Seriously, Tim, what is your deal here. "The games keep getting better. Apparently almost anyone will consider sponsorships and promo copies for imPorts who will stream their stuff."
no subject
His deal is that he doesn't have a lot of friends, and you're it, buddy. He gives Bart a curious look when he talks about streaming. "Yeah? It that kind of thing... actually fun?" He's never tried it--generally just plays games on his own or at the arcade.

"It also helps pay for stuff and I can put the rest towards different charities."
no subject
"Okay, well, that actually sounds pretty cool."
no subject
"Sounds like we have an agreement. Welcome to the party."
He extends his hand to the younger man.

"But on the plus side, apparently the security on our place passes muster."
no subject
He shook his head.
"Good to know. With how this universe is, we are bound to need it, sooner or later."
no subject
"This is a pretty cool place."

Bart gives Tim a mock-glare. "If you don't appreciate it, don't eat it." Then he relents a little. "You should have seen some of the places they kept showing us. Picture windows and open concepts. I felt like I was in a shooting gallery. On the wrong side of the divider."
no subject
Then he nods and shakes his head.
"We went through far too many houses before they paid attention to what we were asking for. Solid walls, good foundations and no damn low and large windows."
He does not swear a lot, but that was... that was frustrating.
