Tea time [locked to Meng Yao]

After he finished teaching his archery class, Sizhui bids his students' good-bye and dismissed them. It's closing time. He cleans up the gym, closed down the shop, and puts the locks in place.

He then leads Meng Yao to the tea bobble shop that is just around the corner. It's a quaint tea shop that sells a variety of milk tea and coffee. "I'm going to order a bubble milk tea. Do you like anything on the menu?"

This child is sweet and Meng Yao can see hints of the Cultivators that likely raised or influenced him. He helps where he can and then follows Sizhui, smiling a little at the question.

"I think I will try it too." he glances over the menu and adds, "What about some muffins? You have been working hard."

Sizhui is surprised that he comes with him. All it takes is a simple request and he is willing to accompany him. This moment is surreal. While Sizhui is a mentor and coach during class, where his experience as a leader of the juniors is best utilized. Side by side they came from the same homeworld.

Taking a glance at the various pastries for sale behind the glass window at the front counter.

"It looks like they do have muffins. I'll have a cheese danish. Do you like sweets?"

Meng Yao is merely the son of a prostitute and a depraved, disgusting noble lord. Sizhui comes from much better stock than him and, truly, what right does he have to deny anyone anything? This is an innocent request and he is intrigued what has led to it.

"I do." he orders a blueberry muffin for himself and smiles at Sizhui, "Let's take a seat, hm? I want to hear about why you asked me here."

Is he simply being kind?

With food and drinks ordered and paid for, they taken a seat. He doesn't know much about his father despising him and how his life is so complicated.

He's going to keep it simple. "Jin Ling is my roommate. I was thinking if it's hard for you to see him, then you can visit us. You just need to give me a call ahead and I can let you in." That is all. After all this time, this is why he can never judge him for his past actions. It's not his place. "He's your nephew, correct?"
