This certainly isn't the first time he sees his father grief-stricken. Though Sizhui's memory as a child occurs as brief flashes, and he wondered if they're real or not. He remembers when he was younger that there was a time his father is so unwell that his uncle has taken over to raise him. Hours where he was a very small child, he stayed by his side, pulling the sleeves of the tall man wearing in white to come play with him, but Lan Wangji will not play with him, and he's disappointed and often cry. As he grows up, he understood why he can't.

Sizhui looks at him quizzically when his father comes closer to check his pulse. Sure enough, there's a pulse, beating and strong, and also warm. "The healers at the hospital. They know what they're doing." He tried to assure him that he was taken care of. "They have a technology that is unfamiliar to me, but they explained to me how it works." He said, with a wonder.

He could only smiled brightly for his sake. That all is well. In a tone never short of warmth. "I'm all right. Jin Ling and Fairy is here too. Jing Yi gave me a call recently."

Sizhui opens the door wider to let his father in, so he can find a seat to take a rest if needed.
