Alex didn't do this sort of thing. Usually. But then again he didn't really flirt openly with guys so it was definitely a turning point for him. He wasn't sure what he was expecting things to be or what was going to happen. He'd eventually found his way to Maurtia Falls 007 as he'd been directed. It was a learning experience for him getting from DeChima out to Maurtia Falls. Not what he'd been expecting. That seemed to be the theme for him that day.

He stood outside a moment before he finally knocked. He wasn't sure what to be expecting. But then again was he going to be what Sammy was expecting.

"Why wouldn't it be real?"

He pauses a moment.

"I'm too sober for an existential crisis." But he laughs.

“I don’t know. Ever seen the Matrix?”

But sammy can understand the sentiment.

“Is there a ‘drunk enough’ point though?”

"The what?" He's from the early 80s. There's many movies he would probably love to see.

He considered it a moment. "You may have a point."

"Guess not..." Sammy chuckles and he doesn't really want to get into explaining that particular movie but maybe there was a copy somewhere for a later watch...

"I definitely always have a point it just varies whether it's dull or sharp."

That made Alex laugh. A rare real burst of laughter from him. He liked the way Sammy said that.

"I like that. I may have to steal it."

That's a nice laugh and it draws a warm smile out of Sammy before he takes another drink of his beer.

"I wouldn't mind."

"Good."

He then went a little red, he remembered why he didn't usually do anything like this. He wasn't good with his feelings.
