WARNINGS: It's...Guzma. That's your warning.

[Generosity and kindness isn't something too normal for Guzma, but in light of...everything that's happened, even before the apocalypse bullshit earlier this month, Guzma knows he and his crew need a break. They need something a bit more upbeat than their typical downtrodden nonsense that they dwell in and romanticize. Well, they still are considering this isn't a Thanksgiving, but rather taken to the term Thanksgriefing, because...y'know, they're idiots.

Anyway, the place is surprisingly decorated, but that's because Tupp went crazy in Guzma's absence and wanted the place to look SHARP for his inevitable return. The decorations could be described as having the sense and style of a toddler hopped up on Mountain Dew, with an near unlimited access to Party City (because Tupp did indeed raid one). There's gold and black streamers everywhere, a red "carpet" on the stairs that is made of...red streamer paper, which has been ripped up from people walking on it (who knew what Tupp was expecting with that). Also coiled around every support beam and the banister for the stairs are skull lights. Not to mention the almost disco ball-like lights hanging throughout the place, along with paper lanterns and bats, however the bats have been crudely spray painted to look like Zubat.

For the makeshift dining area, there's several tables pushed together in the main room to act as a sort of dining table. For lounging, the couches that are normally where the dining table is have been pushed towards the walls to make room (but not so much that people can't sit on them) with TVs and game systems hooked up. Upon the table is roughly 20 boxes of extra large pizzas, all are Hawaiian, with some paper plates. Guzma and Tupp are fine with the type of pizza, for obvious reasons (after all, Guzma ordered them)! Granted, a good portion of the grunts don't mind neither, while others either are sneaking the pineapple pieces off and feeding them to the Pokémon that are out and about while Tupp and Guzma aren't paying attention. It's not that they aren't grateful, in fact they all are! But, you know how it be with Hawaiian styled pizza...

There's plenty of coolers around the place with drinks of various types, ranging from is this rubbing alcohol to is this just liquid sugar, but at least there's variety! The temperature in the factory could be better, but Guzma had busted out his space heaters for the event, and the two rooms with their makeshift fireplaces have them going to help aid in the overall temperature of the drafty factory. The place is relatively clean looking, and that's in part because of Tupp's Alolan Grimer that is quick to eat any and all trash that people drop, while his Salandit are helping to keep the temp up in the main room, but also begging for scraps of food and attention to those willing to give it.

As for the other Pokémon: Masquerain can be found near a space heater or in one of the rooms with the fire place, Golisopod is greeting various people and snacking on what food people offer him, Scizor is at the top of the stairs keeping an eye on everything, and stopping any non-Skull members from going up there, Pinsir is trying to steal a box of pizza while people aren't looking, and failing (mainly because Guzma keeps giving him A Look every time he hears his claws on cardboard), and Ariados has made himself a happy little web in the corner of the main room so he can watch everyone at a comfortable distance. Ariados also seems to not mind when someone tosses a piece of pizza up in his web, scurrying over to inspect it, then slowly eat it.

As for Guzma himself, he's sporting a new feather down coat that he's added some personal touches to. Along with the white stripe and black zigzags down the arms, he's also put that Team Skull symbol on the back. He's also wearing ear muffs, and a scarf around his neck (those fans sure come in handy for making Team Skull merch Guzma can take full advantage of). Thanks to Archie being the best bro a dude could ask for, his broken neck has been healed, so now he can wear scarves instead of that damned neck brace! He's sitting on his throne at the far end of the table, just before the stairs, opposite of the entrance to the factory. He's a couple beers in from the look of it, though he does have a mug near him too, full of what looks to be hot cocoa, and there's certainly an unmarked baggy of some green stuff next to a small stack of rolling papers.

Lucina arrives rather early, happy to be invited to a gathering of those Guzma seems close as family. She may have overthought appearances, coming clad in a cocktail dress matched with almost cartoonishly out of place patterned stockings and sweater (it has little lights on the turkey eyes! it’s fun!!), but Lucina is Lucina.

She doesn’t come empty-handed, either: She had stopped by her favorite bake shop and picked up a pair of boxes of assorted donuts.

“Greetings and well met!” she calls happily, a smile for stranger and friend alike. She’ll be pleased to mull about to those interested in her company, but she won’t impose, either. Rather, she finds contentment in standing back and observing just as much, if not more. It heartens her to see others making merry, curious of some of the games or shenanigans about. Where the huge bonanza of the swear-in overwhelmed and exhausted her, this is a much more tenable scale!

Ah— she has to make her rounds and give some kindness to the Pokémon, too. Others are welcome to join her there — except when she’s slipping Pinsir a breadstick or two to keep his gremlin hands busy.

Guzma sees that, Lucina!! Slipping that nasty gremlin treats when he's being a brat! It's not even like the little asshole wasn't fed, Guzma fed him before this whole thing, but ever is Pinsir a self-absorbed little dickhead. He's mid cramming that breadstick into his mouth when Guzma approaches the two of them, clearing his throat as he raises an eyebrow at them both.

Pinsir freezes like a statue, his little crazy eyes stuck on Guzma, breadstick halfway in his mouth, while Guzma stares them down, "You tryin' to turn him into a damn Snorlax with all that overfeedin'?"

He's not actually bothered, if that grin on his face says anything. Honestly, he's glad to see Lucina taking to his Pokémon as she has, even if he'll likely never get over her contradictory fear of bugs.

"What do you mean?"

It's asked innocently enough, especially since Lucina has no earthly idea what a Snorlax is. She smiles up at him, that grin of his giving her a bit of a flutter.

"There's plenty to go around," she points out. "It's in the spirit of the season, to boot."

[this is a little bittersweet. archie's been pretty low key jealous of guzma for getting all this started; he misses his own team back home. the reason he didn't start a new team aqua was his moral identity issues and... he couldn't replace them. not the ones that opted to stay. he watches the grunts of team skull fool around and they're so much like the aqua ones-- even the absence of pokémon running around is enough to make his heart hurt. it's been... what, three years now?

archie feels guilty for not finding this good enough. so, naturally, he responds to this like a mature adult.

he necks a combination of hideous drinks and climbs up on a table he's pushed to the middle of the room to take one of the skull balls from where it's hanging. sorry, tupp.]

[she grimaces, returning to this room to find him balanced rather precariously on that table. after a hesitation, she floats up opposite him, squinting.]

[he gives it one last tug, freeing it from the string securing it. he wobbles a little backwards as he grips it to his chest.]

I div... divorced Guzma, so technically half of what he owns is mine now... [that's not how it works, he knows this, but...

look. he's a little inebriated.]

[Good thing Tupp was curious at what everyone was gawking at or else he'd might have missed Archie trying to run off with his sick decoration.]

[archie just laughs obnoxiously, jumping back on the table with the skull.]

[During this little get together Tupp can be found mingling around the factory eating his fill of hawaiian pizza. He's a lot more agreeable here with Team Skull and Guzma around than he has been in the past, which may come as a surprise to any of those who have only known him to be a pissy asshole. He's a bit of a brag to those who aren't with Team Skull though, proud and eager to tell anyone willing to listen that he's responsible for the sick decorations in the factory.]

[Letting Pinsir join this party was a mistake. Tupp certainly wasn't going to go sharing that sentiment to the Boss of course, but he was definitely thinking it when the gremlin had snatched a slice of pizza out of his hands right when he was about to take a bite. Jolting up from his chair he's quick to grab Pinsir's little buggy wrist to keep him from both running off and hopefully from just stuffing the slice of pizza in that strange mouth of his.]

Yo, give that back! You know you ain't supposed'ta have that!

[The scolding is ineffective coming from Tupp and besides a pause of shock that Tupp would dare grab him, the Bug instead turns to fight. The question is, do you step in to help or do you watch this shit show play out??]

[You know those three Salandit's running around begging for scraps or attention? Well, meet their trainer. He's caught a few people sneaking them stuff already so Tupp's been keeping an eye out for other offenders.]

Don't you dare!

[He calls out to the latest offender as he storms over, a stern look on his face. Whichever Salandit was about to be fed those good good scraps looking petrified at being caught.]

Yo, don't give 'em shit just cuz they're beggin'!

[So far things have been pretty chill, even with the shenanigans the others have brought, or even the annoyance Pinsir has brought upon them all. Point is, Guzma's been in a pretty good mood, and when he's in a good mood, he tends to be a little bit more generous than what's typically associated with him!

Lucky for Tupp, he's been doing a great job to boot! Even if...he's why they had to get this new base, but honestly, Guzma kinda digs it more. There's more room, and that little tower he's got for himself? Yeah, that's nice. Anyway, point is, Guzma's approaching Tupp, now that he's had the time to break away from everyone, right as he's about to take a bite of pizza that wasn't stolen by Pinsir.]

Yo. [He nods towards the stairs that Scizor's guarding like a bright red, bipedal guard Rockruff.] C'mere, I wanna talk with ya.

[With that, he'll be turning and heading towards the stairs, expecting Tupp to be on his heels.]

[Guzma's approach wasn't enough to stop Tupp from taking a huge bite of pizza right as he was getting spoken too. He follows the Boss's nod to the stairs though and gives his own nod back while loudly swallowing his bite. He is indeed on Guzma's heels as he pulls his bandana back up into place though the slice of pizza is still in other hand.]

If Tina had any sense, she'd think to herself later, she would have just quietly slipped away from the Skulls after the whole near apocalypse happened. She's just not comfortable with being bad, even the minimal mostly-silly amount of "bad" the grunts are, and she knows she's probably never going to quite fit in with them.

But sometimes she lacks sense, and so here she is, coming into HQ incognito with her Skull bandana and cap on. She's leading Jake, a small and placid piebald pony, by his reins, figuring that if Pokemon were given free roam of the base, a horse wouldn't be too out of place. She's also balancing a small stack of homemade pumpkin pies, and as she goes to check out the rest of the food, she remarks,

"Uhm... I have some turkey and stuff at home if anyone wants that... heh... heh..."

Otherwise she and her horse tend to keep to the edges of the room, and Jake doesn't stay the entire time anyway, as he's getting skittish around the Pokemon and Tina gladly lets someone from the therapy horse company come and get him for a Thanksgiving visit to a local nursing home. She does take time to play with the Pokemon, making sure all of them get a bite of food, and by the end of the get-together she's more openly socializing with others, having loosened up a bit.

It's odd to say, but Guzma's almost glad to see Tina. He enjoys her, even if she seems lost and perpetually confused on why she associates with the group, but maybe that's part of it. Lost and conflicted youths are just kinda something he's familiar with, and maybe there's an odd comfort in her presence. The horse was an odd touch to her arrival, but he didn't dislike it—like a Ponyta without fire, or a Mudsdale without ground typing, size, and power.

The beasts here are incredible only in how plain they are in comparison to Pokémon, though he's still taken a liking to the insects of this world...small and fragile though they are.

At her offer of the Turkey, Guzma grins, eyeing those pies from his seat at the table, "Yeah? Pizza ain't to your likin' or somethin'?"

[continuousgroaning]

"It's not a Thanksgiving food," Tina replies steadily, moving closer to Guzma, although she still keeps her distance a little. She doesn't want to be nervous around him, but part of her still is. "I mean, I don't mind pizza normally, but... it's not the same."

[Nanu shows up, it's not the first time he's staked this place out, but it's the first time he's actually expected to enter. It's exactly as trashy as he was expecting... And Nanu used to roll with rich gangsters, so this is pretty funny to him. Oh well, they couldn't all be Giovanni, huh?]

[Nanu picks around the alcohol choices, finding all of them terrible. He's brought some nicer whiskey for the adults while the kids can drink smirnoff ice or whatever. He has cigarettes in his pocket, but he doesn't dare light them in here. Those zubats smell combustible. His Pokémon have been getting more and more morose about being kept in, so he's brought all of them with him today. He lets them out to wander around the party.]

[Persian immediately makes a beeline for the table to beg for food. Sableye is literally running around, swinging off of things and if anyone looks at her, she will chase them. Krookodile, ordinarily a vicious predator, is laying fatly as close to a heater as possible. In fact, it's completely blocking it for anyone else.]

Guzma. [ He says pretty straight faced as a greeting. Nanu's eyes flick to the bag of weed, but he doesn't say anything because he doesn't actually care.]

Thanks for the invitation. Old man like me has nowhere to go for the holidays. [He can't help but smirk about that.]

I brought my Pokémon around. They didn't let me leave without them today... It's troublesome, but I suppose friends of yours won't expect anything from me.

[Nanu hands Guzma a glass of whiskey, except it's in a red party cup. Persian comes out from behind Nanu and sticks its fat head right into the drugs.]

[surprisingly, archie hasn't hit the booze yet. he will, a lot, later on, but right now he's only just arrived and still acts like the most obnoxious shit ever.

[Nanu looks at him with such an annoyed expression. He decides to just pretend that Archie really is that stupid.] I'm not wearing a mask, you can just call me Nanu. Congrats on figuring it out, though.

[Nanu looks up at crobat and gives it a smile.]

He wants a drink, but he also knows most adults Frown on that kinda thing.

Typically, he'd ignore Nanu. Look, the weird guy with a possibly not!kid is interesting, but not anyone of note to him. Yet, given the pokemon roaming around... Nikolai knows all the trainers in this world by pokemon at least.

Coupled with Baku's reaction when he ran into the guy that one time...]

[Nanu sees him eyeing the alcohol. There's already an entire room of underage drinking, and it's not like Nanu didn't as a kid. But it looks like this guy wants to just distract him about Pokémon. That's fine.]

Yeah, that's Krookodile. [As a grunt was trying to move the heater without touching the big lizard so other people could use it too....]

You wanna say hi to him? [He remembers this kid has a Gengar... He can probably handle rowdy Pokémon then?]

[At his name and Nanu's approach, Guzma spares Nanu his attention with an amused upward quirk of his mouth, as well as one eyebrow, taking that offered whiskey without complaint—why would he anyway, he's a fucking alcoholic.]

They probably didn't wanna be left out, kinda like—

[BUT THEN PERSIAN PUTS HER FUCKING NOSE RIGHT INTO THE GOODS, and Guzma's immediately trying to push her face out of it.]
