Too late, little one, I'm on the run [OPEN]
WHO: Kay Faraday and/or her band of Merry Crows, and YOU!
WHERE: Everywhere, actually.
WHEN: Anytime this August, forward-dating to September also accepted. This is a very flexible log.
WHAT: This! To be precise, Kay's crows are out and about, watching people, stalking people, pranking people, and making life a whole lot more interesting.
WARNINGS: None. Make your own threads and indicate whether they're open or closed. Remember, tagging around and running into people dealing with crows is very much encouraged! BONUS: Comes with open log for #007 residents and people who'd like to hang out at it.
[Despite all her general silliness and propensity for tricks and jokes, Kay actually took learning about her powers more seriously than most people thought. She made the most out of her gift of gab with the crows, deploying them as scouts, messengers and fighters...or merely companions. And everywhere she went, there was always a crow about, whether because she called one to accompany her, or just because word spread among the crow murder (or network of murders) about her.
But crows will be crows, and crows are notoriously smart creatures. When nothing much is going on, they can be found either lurking up in a tree or silently winging their way toward certain people. Or worse...gathering information, pooping on things or causing general mischief.]

Sorry guys. Have fun.]

Except... there's a crow. There's a crow just sort of hanging out in the kitchen and staring at Bart like it just knows what he's planning to do.
Which is why, when Kay turns around, she'll find her roommate kind of in the middle of a glare-off with a bird.]

The crow seems to stand watch over the food already done like a shadowy sentinel, and doesn't sound the alarm. It doesn't need to, because Kay turns around while mixing up the salad - ]
Uh...am I interrupting something?
Morning, 8/31, Open to Residence #35
C'mon, girl, let's get some breakfast.
[There are a couple of crows in the tree in the yard, Winry notices, but they're not swooping after Zoey, so she doesn't pay them much mind.]
september 1st - closed to Kay
But he's never done anything like this before, so maybe it might be a good idea to run over what he's going to say beforehand. He's practically just down the street, completely sure nobody's around, but that's mainly because he's talking to himself.......or at least it looks that way.]
Yoooo...so, Kay. I was thinking about going to catch a movie, if you wanna come al- ...no, no, you have to be more direct. That just sounds like you wanna hang out.
Hm- [A beat.] -hey Kay, you better set a date, cause we're going on one! ...even I think that's stupid. Plus that's more like a statement than a question.
This is harder than I thought it'd be...and I haven't even done it yet. Sheesh.
[GOOD THING HE'S TOTALLY ALONE RN.]

It fixes its beady eyes on Sanageyama as if waiting for him to say something more. But after a while it flutters away, back to #007.]

Hey, isn't that-
[...and then it flies off towards her place.]
H-hey! HEY, GET BACK HERE!!
[HE'S DOING IT HE'S CHASING A CROW. Not that he has much chance of catching it, but.]
no subject
Taunting him like, "I'M GONNA TELL."]
no subject
Oi, don't make me come up there! I've climbed tougher stuff than this before!
[...which might just look like he's pointing and yelling at her window.]
no subject
Huh? Hi, Shadow, what's up?
no subject
Okay, time to make a decision here. He can either call up to Kay and just move on to the more important stuff, or he can continue his pursuit of this crow.
...
So naturally he finds the nearest foothold he can, then scales the side of her place like a pro. Like, there's a reason they call him Monkey, and even if this isn't it, he's still climbing like one. He's up to her windowsill in a few seconds, and once he's close enough swipes out a hand to try and grab the crow.]

YOU GUYS THINK YOU'RE FUNNY, HUH!?
8/31 at residence #007 and ota!
Until today.
The day the crows he'd seen kind of hanging around the house since he'd first gotten had decided to come inside. In force.
He'd managed to get a round of lightning quick texts out to just about anyone he could think of sos i have a crow infestation pls help before the things actually took his phone and tried to go hide it in their hoard.
Which is how Bart has gotten to the point of running at superspeed through the house, trying to scare them out windows or through the doors and really only succeeding in the stubborn things finding new and different resting places.
And from the red marks on his hands, grabbing them wasn't having much success either.]
A TEXT FOR U
SO HELPFUL
[Give him a second to, you know, get his phone back from the crow nest]
